Fearless

The Dorms

"What are you planning" he asks. "As I said earlier you'll see." I say. He looks annoyed but I can tell he's trying not to smile. We keep walking.
"Are you planning on making friends?" He asks almost mockingly.

"I don't make friends. I make allies. And even then I'll never fully trust them. I've gotten this far on my own. And it probably won't be any different just because I'm in a new faction." I say. He glanced at me with almost a twinge of curiosity. But hey. What do I know.

The rest of the walk was filled with silence. It wasn't awkward silence though. It was just silence. And after only a few minutes with twists and turns along the way we arrive.

We walk in quietly without being noticed by all but one. Of course it's the same one that I hate. His eyes look at me for a second before glancing at the man to my left. They both hold glares of hatred.
"Look who finally decided to show up." Tobias says.
"Yes. We decided to show up after we went to the infirmary like you told us to. Or do you forget your orders just as quickly as you forget your sister." Eric said with a smirk.
"Oh and we had a lot of fun while we were there. You know I think I'll keep a close eye on this initiate. In fact I'll be overseeing her training seeing as how family can't train family." Eric adds on. Tobias storms out yelling "get changed and go eat."

I look around and see here that there are two beds left. One next to the other stiff that transferred here and one between a door and a guy who came from candor. I immediately know which bed I'm not going to.
As I approach the candor him and his friends stop talking and look at me.

"Seriously I don't have time for you to stare so what do you want candor?" I ask. "You're the one who called out four in front of everyone. You've got some serious balls if you're gonna do that." He says. I roll my eyes. "Or it just takes someone who can see through his b.s. to call him out." I say. "He's just a coward hiding behind a new name. His name is Tobias. He had a sister he was supposed to protect. He left to go to the faction that protects. He never came back to protect her. Now she wants revenge. Now. What's your name candor?" I say.
He looks like he's at a loss for words but he covers it up and says "Peter. What's your name?"
"Elia. And before you get carried away with the whole friend thing. Don't. We're not friends. Don't take it personally. I just don't make friends. We're allies. We'll help each other get to the top but I will be number one." I say. He seems to think for a moment then nods. "Now. Show me where food is. I'm hungry and I wasn't here for the tour. So you are now my tour guide. Let's go." I say. He smiles nods and then we're off.
