song: meltdown by rin.

as the years passed, the faron bloodline has begun to extinct. the force of unity growing strong each year until the people with a strong will to live could only bare the two triforces.

all the nursemaids cringed as they saw the baby that came from their mistress. the little bundle of joy wasn't by all means ugly at all. he was a small thing weighing 3 pounds with fair skin and one, tiny, golden hair strand curled on his forehead.

long ebony lashes fluttered on round cheeks. the problem was, he wasn't breathing. the male assistant took the unresponsive baby and whacked it hard on the back. the baby squrimed in his arms as soon as that happened. the baby is alive, but did not cry. he just stared. silently.

the mother observed with tears in her eyes. she was sad, but glad. her child was the bearer of the two triangles. she didn't want him to have it, but at least she doesn't have them anymore...

"my mistress, what would you like to name him?"

the tired woman had a feeling that her son was connected to something. that he was really important and had a big role to play.

"i'll name him... link... link faron."

they wrote it down on papers as the baby was getting washed. bundle in her arms, she started to sing as she rocked him to a peaceful slumber, innocent blue eyes closed.

/sleep, my child...

go to sleep, my child...

dream sweet dreams of olden times.

dream, my child, sweet dreams, my child...

rest your weary mind. waltz under moonlit trees...

sail all the wondrous seas, give into all your dreams and sleep...

sleep, my child, go to sleep my child, have no fear, i'm here, by your side.

dream, my child... sweet dreams, my child, the sun has said goodbye...

drift through the open sky, wings spread and spirits high.

wave as the clouds go by and sleep./

the two slept the whole day.
