"yay! snow!"

"whoo hoo!"

"oh yeah!"

"ugh, it's cold."

a small boy watched wistfully at the group of children throwing balls of snow at each other in the fields. he wished he could play with them but his parents won't let him. something about his immune system being weak.

how can a god's immune system be weak? he groaned quietly as he heard footsteps from behind, "MASTER LINK! i've been looking everywhere for you!" a woman with silver hair and brown eyes cried.

she grabbed him by his wrist gently and began to walk with him, "you must never skip your etiquette lessons. it is very important to learn of manners."

"lady paya... i want to go out and play; may i go out to play?"

the woman hesitated before shaking her head, "no. i'm sorry but you will catch a cold if you go." curious blue eyes looked at the snow and a plan was formed.

black cloak secured on his frail frame as he stealthily slipped through a cracked window, landing ungracefully on his feet before trudging through the snow and to the four playing children.

one girl with vibrant orange hair and lava red eyes saw the figure cloaked in black walking towards them, "guys, look. stranger danger at five o clock." the three stopped playing and watched the tiny, cloaked figure stop in front of them.

no one spoke until they heard a soft hum, "um... excuse me but.... d-do you think i can play with you guys? if you don't mind..."

"reveal yourself, stranger!"

the five young god's stared at each other before link slid his hood off, pink on his cheeks, nose and ears. not from his shy personality but from the cold. one gasped, "whoa! his skin is the color of snow!"

the orange haired girl nodded, "what's your name, runt?". he bit his lip and replied, "my name is link faron. and yours?"

"i'm midna twilitian, daughter of the goddess of sunset."

a short haired blond bounced up and down, "i'm zelda hylianas! daughter of the fourth golden goddess, hylia! soon to be goddess of the hylians! well... co goddess...i only get to watch over the triforce."

a tall figure stepped forward with menacing golden eyes and firey red hair, "i'm ganondorf dragmire, son of the first goddess, din."

a lanky girl with a pale blond bun stepped up, "i'm tetra, daughter of the second goddess nayru(not sorry)"

"which goddess did you come from, link?" zelda chirped. "um.... i'm closely related to the third goddess, farore..."

"EH?! farore's bloodline?! that's dangerous! i have heard that the royal family of her people possess two pieces of the triforce. one of the triangular forces belonged to a deity that was super powerful but corrupt!"

"and the royal bloodline is falling quickly because of the power built up inside the silver force."

midna smirked impishly, "i've heard rumors of the royal family of farore. only one of the royal's will possess the ultimate power and the triangle of unity of the deity. they never live long enough though since the deity's power deems all of them 'unworthy'"

link blinked. "worthy..."

they all looked at him and he looked away. "i-i have to go back... i can't play with you guys..."

"why?" zelda whined. "because i bare the power of the fierce deity..... so i'm going to die soon... i don't want to get attached to people, knowing i'm going to die at an early age."

he showed his left hand and a green and white light glowed before he put the hood on his head and swiftly ran back to the castle. leaving dumbfounded kids alone.

"we just met a prince who possesses two triangle pieces!" midna cackled before tackling zelda.
