10 years.
10 years since I last saw him.
10 years since I have heard him.
10 years since... everything.
It still hurts me. Even though it was my decision, it still hurts. I tried my best to completely forgot about him, but I keep on seeing him in my dreams and even the smallest things remind me of him.
The others think that I'm okay of this because of this facade but I'm not. I'm not okay.
These are my thoughts most of the time, and even though I don't want it to, it always wanders back to him.
I went out today like normal, and went to the same coffee shop like normal, and bought the strongest coffee they sold like normal. But then I bumped into someone totally abnormally.
"Oh sorry! I didn't mean to-"
Damn it! Some kid just bumped into me spilling the VERY hot coffee on my shirt! It was a favourite one!
"It's okay kid.", I said while sighing.
When I took a look at the kid I had to take a double check because his eyes were exactly like the person's I tried to forget.
It was sea green and held an entire ocean in it. There was a little sparkle in it and had a mischievous gleam in it.
Even though the rest of his face was covered with a black mask, I still got the feeling it was him. But it wasn't possible because the last time I checked he was still in San Francisco but that was years ago a voice in my head says. It's true though the last time I checked was 5 or 6 years ago so I guess he could have moved. But I'm most probably wrong because what are the odds that I would run into him again after everything.
"I'm so sorry! I swear on the gods I didn-" His rambling snapped me out of my trance. "It's alright kid." The boy then dug his hand in his pocket looking for something. "Here are some tissues." He then handed me some tissues. My eyes immediately widened when I saw his hand. "I'm sorry about your shirt but I have to be somewhere. Sorry!" He ran off yelling sorry.
I barely registered his words as my mind was still stuck on one thing : iron man watch.
