Morning of summer camp
Alexa (Alex) POV

I was already packed and ready to leave the morning of the camp, but I kept falling back asleep I wondered if anyone would want to hangout with me or maybe even be friends.
*Beep beep beep bee-*  I turn my alarm off as quick as I could makeing the painful sound stop. I layed there trying to convince myself to get up but, I failed misrably. My past self knew this was going to happen so I set multiple alarms to go off about 3 minutes apart. I admit it was smart but I didn't realize how short 3 minutes really is.
*Beep beep be-*
*beeep be-*
After the third alarm when off it was around 7:30 and we had to leave at 8:30 so I figured I should probably get out of bed before my mom came to get me.
One quick shower and a change of clothes later, I was ready to go only needing to put my shoes on.
I got to admit it I am actually a little exited to escape my everyday life. Especially Kelly, I can't stress enough how much I want to cut her head off, maybe than she'll finely shut up. Mom always tells me she's my friend go hang out with her but I know Kelly hates my guts too. She just hangs out with me to get popular, and for clothes. My mom makes really good money as a manager of some cloth department I don't know, I don't pay attention to her often, but she makes lots of money so Kelly feeds off of me like a leach.
   *knock knock knock*
A familiar voice appears "Are you up?"
"Yeah, I'm getting my shoes on."
"Ok, well hurry up we have to leave in 5 if you want coffee." She informed me.
Apparently I was too deep in thought to notice the time, damn am I that stupid? Apparently.
Oh yeah coffee! I love coffee, and I don't mean coffee with like 10 pounds of sugar in it like most teens, *cough* Kelly *cough* I like actual coffee, I don't care if it have a drop of creamer in it or none. I just love coffee.
I finished tying my shoes and went to the car with my stuff. The camp was going to be around 3 weeks I think, so I had to pack a lot of clothes. I was really hoping I wouldn't have to do laundry there but I can't fit 3 weeks of clothes into one suit case, sadly. On the other hand, I'll only have to do it once, I have like a week1/2 worth of clothes.
Right now I'm wearing high waisted ripped jeans, a white shirt tucked into that, and converse. A simple outfit and I really liked it until-
"Your gonna wear that for your first day?"
"Yeah, I thought it was simple, but cute."
"Uhg, whatever you won't have time to change anyways." She sounded annoyed.
The car ride was quiet like usual, but I couldn't help but to think back to what she said. Was it that bad? I thought I looked good, I guess not. I suppose I just won't make a 'statement' on the first day like she wants me to. I wish I could just enjoy the clothes I pick, not what she expects me to wear.

Sam's POV
As I was gathering my stuff to leave, I remembered by bracket was still sitting on my dresser. This was my absolute favorite bracelet because of the memories it held, with me Jake and max.
One of the first times we were sleeping over at max's house we decided to go to the mall, specifically hot topic because it's  the best store to find cartoon merch, anime merch, gudetama merch, Melanie Martinez merch, etc. You name it they probably have it, that's why we all basically live there.
Anyways, we were looking around and found some bracelets. It said once it was all put together, "fuck off" but separately it made no sense, one said 'f' one said 'uck-o' and the last one said 'ff' so it was perfect for us. And our parents wouldn't question it, well maybe the 'uck o' but over all they wouldn't care. So we got it, and the rest of the day felt like nothing ever went wrong.
So now when we get together we always wear the bracelets, kinda like a good luck charm but not really, I guess it's just a comfort thing, knowing my friends will always be with me. And it says 'fuck off' so that just adds another level of amazing to it.
"Are you coming?" My mom shouted from down stairs interrupting my train of thought.
"Yeah." I shouted right back as I quickly grabbed my bracelet put it on, and ran down the stairs. I saw my mom leaning on the wall looking at her phone waiting for me.
     "Got everything?" She asked
     "Yeah"
"You sure, your going to be gone for around 3 weeks, are you sure you didn't forget anything?"
I eased her mind by listing things I usually forget. "Yeah I double checked I have my charger, my headphones, my hair brush. I got everything."
"Ok that's good. Well we better start going if you want to get food on the way."
"Yes!" I excitedly said. We usually don't eat out unless something special is happening or someone is gonna be gone for a while, that's why I'm so excited about eating breakfast on the way there.
We got some Arby's even though it's not breakfast I convinced my mom to get it. I got just a normal burger, and there famous curly fries. I. Love. Their. Fries. It's just so gooood. My mom just got some fries and a coffee, she had already eaten some breakfast at home, but no one can resist fries. Especially Arby's fries.
The drive was pretty ok I was on my phone most of the time when my mom was listening to the radio shows. I don't know why she finds them so entertaining to me there just really annoying. Other than that the ride was peaceful, but I'm still not excited about the camp. I would much rather hang out with Max and Jake.
"Oh! by the way your going to be in a cabin! Isn't that fun Sam!" She so clearly was excited about it I couldn't just say no, especially sense she did just get us Arby's.
"Yeah, that's pretty cool." I said mustering up all of my energy.
"Ooo were almost there, oh look at that Sam Isn't it cool!" She pointed at something in the distance with an amazed expression on her face.
