Ethan finally recovered with little to no complications. His would was kind of infected when he got to the hospital and caused a few issues for him for a couple days after surgery but soon it was completely gone. He was excited to leave the hospital, and the state.

I was packing Ethan's clothes from the hospital as Grayson went to go get some more things from the house before we left. Ethan insisted on helping me but when he tried to stretch for things I could tell his wound was still a little sore and bruised. He was sat on the bed watching me closely, almost as if he was admiring me.

"Take a picture, it will last longer." I said sarcastically, giving him a cheeky smile.

"I would if I had my phone." He retorted.

I then slipped off the ring I had on and popped it in Ethan's bag he slightly frowned. I looked at him weirdly and he smiled slightly after.

"I was enjoying the fact you were my fake fiancé." He said.

After he said that Grayson came into the room looking panicked and in disarray. Ethan looked at him worriedly as I packed the remaining items into the bag.

"We need to go, now." He said, his voice quiet but urgent.

"What, why?" Ethan asked.

"She's here, she's looking for your room." Grayson said. Ethan didn't look happy.

"How did she get in?" Ethan asked.

"She said she was our Mother." Grayson explained, grabbing the bag from me and rushing us out of the room and into a close by stairwell.

"We can't go by elevator, I know you need to take it easy bro but if we go by elevator we'll bump into her." He said.

Ethan nodded understandingly and started limping down the stairs. we were a few stories high, so it was going to take a while.

"How did Savanna know we were here?" I asked.

"She may have followed you while you brought Ethan here and waited, or she could've followed me." Grayson said, but I could tell he was also confused.

As we got to the second floor we heard a door burst open a few flights of stairs above us, followed by frantically fast footsteps. We all looked at each other and our faces dropped as we realised who it was. We sped up our pace, helping Ethan do the same.

"You won't get away this time!" A deep but feminine voice said, echoing through the stairwell.

My heart raced, it felt as it it was about to burst out my chest. My stomach had dropped and I felt physically sick, afraid of being caught and potentially killed by this psychopath. My instincts kicked in and I wanted to run but knew I would be targeted if I was seen with the guys.

"Guys, go and get in the car and drive to the Starbucks a few blocks from the hospital. I'll catch up after distracting the woman. She still doesn't know I'm with you." I whispered and they were hesitant but soon nodded.

Grayson got Ethan onto his back and began to ran as fast as he could with Ethan's added weight while I calmed myself and sat on the stairs, placing my legs across the length of a step. The footsteps grew closer and my heart rate got faster, just in case she had actually seen me with them without us knowing, but shook it out my head and waited.

"I swear to god if you get away agai-OUCH!"

Savanna had tripped over my legs and landed on her hands and knees on the floor below. I started to act worried and surprised, rushing to her.

"Oh my god, are you okay?" I asked, forcing as much worry into my tone as I can.

"Yes, I'm fine. Watch where you out your legs little girl." She said, anger laced in her voice.
