I rushed Ethan into the car, my face pale as blood stained my hands and clothes. I wanted to be sick, yet I needed to take care of Ethan.

"Ethan stay with me, don't close your eyes, keep talking to me!" I panicked as his breathing shallowed and his eye lids were drooping.

"Y/n it's so painful. Please hurry." He begged.

I was on the verge of tears as he said this. I felt my eyes get watery as a jabbed the car key into the ignition and started Grayson's car.

"Ethan keep talking to me, stay awake." I demanded, frantically looking left and right as I drove at illegal speeds.

"Y/n...please don't let me die." He groaned, holding his wound gently.

"Ethan apply more pressure to it or you will bleed out!" I shouted, seeing the hospital get closer.

He screamed in pain as he tried to apply more pressure, accidentally moving the knife that was still inside his side. His eyes were squeezed shut as he gritted his teeth in pain.

"Ethan get ready to get out." I said, removing his seat belt and then my own.

I pulled up and parked in a space as close as possible to the hospital. I ran out of the car slamming the door closed as I made my way to Ethan's side of the car.

"Right on three you need to swing your leg out of the car gently okay?" I said as I opened his door and got ready to help him.

"Okay, hold my hands." He said lightly, short of breath.

I gripped his hands as he swivelled in his car seat, his groans of pain loud enough for people inside the hospital to hear.

"C'mon Ethan, push yourself." I groaned as he put most of his weight on my wrists while moving.

I helped pull him out the car, shutting the door behind him and wrapping his arm around my shoulder and my own arm around his waist.

"Help! Somebody help me!" I shouted as I helped Ethan's dead weight towards the hospital doors.

The hospital staff rushed out to help me and so did a few strangers. One lady pulled me away gently, letting another nurse grab ahold of Ethan.

"I need some help!" She shouted, another nurse running to the other side of Ethan.

They held him up together and moved him as quickly as possible towards the hospital doors. Tears threatened to fall from my puffy eyes yet again, but I tried to hold myself together.

I heard a car door slam behind me and looked, seeing Grayson jogging up to me. Before I could greet him he pulled me into a hug, obviously seeing my distressed expression. He shushed me as I broke down, rubbing my back gently.

"Shh y/n, he'll be okay. He's been through worse." Grayson said.

I let my arms wrap around him, seeking the comfort I was being offered. After a few minutes we decided it was best to go into the hospital and see what was going on. Grayson held my hand but let go once we got inside.

"Put this on your ring finger." Grayson whispered as we stood near the doors.

"W-what? Why?" I asked.

"Pretend to be his fiancé, otherwise they won't let you in to see him." He said, taking my left hand.

He slowly slipped the ring onto my finger and he smiled. I blushed and looked away towards the desk, clearing my throat and moving my hand away from his after he had placed the ring. We walked towards the desk and they smiled at us.
