I tucked into my tattered sleeping bag as a cold wind went past me while I laid on the hard, uncomfortable park bench. I noticed people giving me looks of sympathy and disgust, which I'm pretty used to now. My small, dirty baseball cap sat on the floor with a few bits of loose change inside. I didn't beg, I just sat or laid here, giving people smiles and saying 'hi' every now and then to try a keep myself sane.
I'm homeless. I've had a shitty life so far and I'm only 18. I had a very loving family, great dad, great mum, a brother and baby sister. But it all went to shit when I accidentally got pregnant at a party since I was drunk with a drugged up guy who was 20 at the time and I was 14, almost 15. My parents went ballistic and threatened to and eventually did kick me out. My brother was away at college and offered to let me stay with him but he didn't know I was knocked up. When I arrived he saw the bump and his face dropped but he still let me stay, until his roommate saw me and told me 'it's a sin to have a baby outside of marriage' and all that, so my brother had to let me go as well. He didn't want to but he had to respect his roommate's beliefs.
A few months went by and I was homeless at this point, roaming around my city, only just turned 15. It was late at night and I was trying to find a place to rest when two men started to follow me. They ended up beating me up for the little money I had and my tent. They managed to get my stomach many times and there was so much blood...I hate to think about it.
I have been through a lot but that doesn't get me down, I always try to think positive and find my way back to being able to live in a house, have food everyday and to shower frequently. I want that so bad I'm willing to do anything for it...

"Here, it's all the change I have, but I'm going to the cafe down the street if you'd like anything?" A little old lady said with a smile plastered on her face.
"Thank you so much, and no thank you, the change is enough." I smiled back, grateful for her donation.
"Okay, well if you'd like anything then come to the cafe, I'll be there." She smiled again, beginning to walk off. I smiled and thought to myself how lovely she was.
I then saw these two guys who looked similar staring at me. Probably making fun of me like every other guy out here...I thought to myself as they whispered and smirked to themselves. They were extremely pleasant to look at though, dark hair, hazel eyes, tattoos, defined muscles. Just out right gorgeous. Those were the type guys nearly every girl envies in a boyfriend and, of course, personality. They suddenly began to approach me, smiling and waving at me sweetly. It was kind of patronizing in a sense but I did it back to not be rude.
"Hey, are you homeless?" One of them bluntly asked, getting hit by the other.
"Sorry about him, he's never been subtle with things." He apologized, scratching the back of his neck.
"It's fine because I am." I chuckled.
"I'm sorry aha, I'm Ethan." He smiled warmly, making me smile back instantly.
"I'm Grayson, we were wondering if you'd like to get some food with us?" He asked.
"I don't have any money." I said and he laughed.
"Let me rephrase that then. Would you like to come get food with us, we'll pay for it." He said, Ethan smiling behind him.
"Y-Yeah sure, but are you sure you wanna do that?" I agreed smiling with gratefulness.
"Yes! Of course." Grayson said cheerfully, ushering me to get up.
I proceeded to get up and let the sleeping bag fall of my frail, pale legs. They looked at my limp, skinny, starved frame in surprise.
"H-How long since you ate a proper meal?" Ethan stuttered.
"Uh about 4 years...I mean I've had sandwiches and slices of pizza but a proper home cooked meal...then yeah, 4 years." I admitted. They breathed in heavily and looked at me sympathetically.
"E, can we talk a second." Grayson asked. Ethan nodded and they went a little bit away from me.
"I feel sorry for her bro, we can't do this." Grayson said to Ethan. I looked confused.
"I have a plan." Ethan replied.
They came back over and I tried acting normal.
"What's your name?" Grayson asked.
"Y/n." I replied cautiously. They smiled.
"That's a pretty name." Grayson smiled. I smiled weakly back, a bad feeling in my gut.
"So y/n, how would you feel about having a job?" Ethan asked.
"U-uh, pretty good." I nervously chuckled.
"Would you like to work as our maid? We have a pretty big house which needs tending to and Grayson and I are too busy to do it ourselves. We've been looking around and no one really seems to fit the job. We have a spare room that can be yours, decorate it how you like, you'll get paid weekly, and no rent needs to be paid by you." He explained.
It was a good opportunity but I felt like there was a catch.
"Is there a catch?" I blatantly asked. They looked at each other then at me.
"Details will be discussed at the house, lets go get that food." Ethan said.
