It was finally Saturday morning. I spent all yesterday night packing cute clothes for the weekend. Shaving all over my body twice in a row, or maybe more. In each time as I packed, I thought of us. How fun it will be to spend time together at a lake. It's romantic when they tell you, but it's exotic when you actually go on that adventure. Which today it will be accomplished. Now, I reached for my bag on the floor carrying it with me to the front door when Zack texts me he's already here. Butterflies rush to the end of my core, fluttering all throughout my stomach as I head for the door.
Taking one last look at myself in the hallway mirror, I swing open the front door and head out.
I gape over to him where he stands by the passenger door, his luxurious figure stands tall and bright as he smiles happily at me.
"Could this boy be anymore handsome?" I ask myself as my heart beats a thousand beats.
I walk down my concrete pathway, trying to sort my mess of a self out once I reach him. I lean forward bringing my arms over his shoulders, then swiftly pressing my lips against his bare naked lips.
Once I pull myself apart from him, I take in those eyes. The sun shining deep enough for me to take a peak at his soul from the inside. Carrying nothing but extraordinary.
"You ready?" He dare asks.
With a mischievous grin, I stand back with my chess big and bold. "Aren't I always" and with that he grabbed the door handle to his car and swung it wide open.

The drive to the lake house wasn't too far. It was a fair minimum distance away from the city. The view from outside the car was amazing as I stared out my side of the window the whole time. Passing by buildings and trees that stood out, and of course I glanced at Zack more than I could count by my fingers. He was just too captivating not to look at.
When we reached the small little home, I jumped straight out of the car with my bag over my shoulder as I stood in one position. We were surrounded by nothing but water and trees. Mother nature's gift has been accepted I thought to myself as I laid eyes upon the shining lake.
With light steps, I roamed over to the bay of the water. Watching the sunlight reflect off the trickling water.
"I always came here with my family in the summer time. We'd swim for hours, almost the whole day. I missed this place" Zack spoke from behind me.
With a commiseration look, I slowly turned around and asked, "why'd you stop?" I could only guess what he meant from his words just now.
Zack carefully stepped over to me, shoving his hands in his pockets as his face filled with solemn. "Well after my mom died, we stopped coming here. Work got the best of him" he finished.
Zack never said much about his mother to me. I knew she was gone, but not dead. Guess he's finally starting to open up to me. I tip toed over by him, carefully handing him my hand. With passion I wrapped my fingers in his, becoming whole.
"Your here now" I whispered to him.
As I whispered those words a big smile took over his face as the sun shined down to him. The sun making him glow even more. He then furrowed his eyebrows together looking as if something was on his mind, but didn't want to say anything.
I clutched my head to the side wondering what is trapped in his head.
"Penny for your thoughts?" I questioned
His smile grows bigger while shaking his head repeatedly. "It's nothing. Let's go for a swim yea?"
I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed, but we didn't have time for pitiful moments this weekend. Our goal for this weekend is to just enjoy it. So I'm sticking to that promise and letting loose.
With a gleam of a smile, I bowed my head and scurried off to the house.
As my feet padded onto the wooded creaks of the floors, a vintage house overtook my eyes. As I walked further into the cozy dark home, I couldn't help but glide my fingers through the walls of the home. It welcomes me in a second, not feeling lost or uncomfortable. I glance over my shoulders catching Zack's soft lips curve up while he gazed upon the home he belonged to.
I could tell that he missed this place. Memories kept in here for too long. It surprises me that he took me here to bear it with him as if he welcomes me into his life ever more so.
"This place is amazing" I breathe as I watch him.
Zack's head snaps back to me, lips pursed into a smile that makes the air become thick. "Thanks. Place is more enjoyable once you've settled in completely" he shrugs.
"I'm already settled in" I twirl around admiring the decor surrounded by us. "Place is absolutely stunning" I chant from below as I begin to walk towards the stairs.
"Here, take a look around while I bring our stuff in" Zack shouts as he heads outside which for I keep walking up the long wooded steps.
The hallway is gloomy but not terrifying, as the sunlight beams onto the walls from the wide open windows. Still feeling tempted I glide my fingers passionately against the walls. Whoever built this place must've really had big ideas set onto this specific home.
I continue my path along the hallway till I see a door in sight. Once I've reached the nearest door I swing it wide open to reveal a closet. Surprised it wasn't a bathroom.
After many attempts of trying to find a bedroom. My chances finally answer. I walk into a huge room with a huge bed placed right in between 2 night stands with 2 big lamps placed on top.
"Cute" I tell myself as I swift over next to the bed. As any other kind of human being, I leap onto the bed. My body instantly being swallowed by the mattress.
I let out a relived sigh feeling very indeed relaxed in this moment. I lie down for a while and soon my eyes begin to get heavy and more heavy as time consumes me. Before I could open them again, I was fast asleep. Dreams now overtaking my unconscious self.
