"You know, I never got to apologize for the way I acted with you, I'm sorry" he apologizes for some reason which I don't know why.

I give him a confused look to why he apologized. "For what?" I question.

"When I first met you, I yelled at you for being in my room while I was asleep" he drops his hand down to his coffee mug and picks it up slowly. Bringing the ceramic cup to his lips.

I snap my eyes away from him and blink rapidly. "Oh it's fine, it was my fault really. I don't think I was suppose to even be up there in the first place" I reason with him.

David shakes his head. "Either way it was no right to treat a women, especially a beautiful lady" his eyes gleam with sparkle sending sparks all around me.

I can't help but blush from his intense gaze set on me. I clear my throat and change the subject. "So, David, do you go to college?" I pick up my spoon and stir my coffee.

"I'm starting college this year actually" he takes another sip of his coffee.

I try my best not to be surprised by what he said. He seems too old to be starting college, but maybe he was held back or matured early I'm guessing.

I brush it off and continue to speak. "So your...20?" I ask.

He chuckles a light laugh. "Yes, I know Stella your probably wondering why I look so old, and to be honest with you I think it's genetic because my whole family have matured at an early age" he explains.

I cover my face as a nervous act. "I'm sorry, I hope I didn't offend you, I just...I don't know. I'm sorry" I break wanting to mentally slap myself for asking these questions.

As my hands cover my face, I feel his touch on me. Instantly burning my skin from how he caresses my hands carefully. He brings them down slowly, giving me an astonish grin. His hooded eyes don't go miss. It's like his eyes are pure black and shiny, filled with desire in them.

I bite my lip without thinking making his eyes flicker to my lips. I don't miss the way he blinks away and clears his throat.

"Uhm...are you still in high school?"

I smile and look down. "Yea, junior year for me" I give a sarcastic smile.

"High school was a pain in the ass back then. Not much a fun time, but the parties were something I guess" he says.

"Exactly, that's how I practically met you" I point out a straight fact.

He chuckles in a deep tone looking into back into my eyes. "Yes...yes you did"

When we are finish eating, he pays for lunch making me feel horrible inside, but I like the gentleman gesture he's showing me. We walk out of the diner and head back to his car.

My parents don't know that I'm out on a date with David because I'm afraid that they won't accept him because of his age probably and how much older he is than I am. So I decide to just head over to Riley's house for backup.

While driving we decide to give a light talk, since Riley doesn't live very far.

"Thank you for lunch David" I thank him.

"Thank you Stella for coming out to lunch with me" he pauses before proceeding to speak. He gives me a few glances over his shoulder assuming his...nervous or something. "Stella, I...would like to...spend some more time with you" he speaks softly in his deep voice.

I look down and try to think before speaking. Is it wrong that I would continue this "friendship" with him? Or fall for a man who is older than me and could possibly catch a case?

I snap out of my rough thinking remembering that it's my life and too keep out the negative talks.

I look over to him with a smirk. "I'd love that" I tell him causing him to smile deeper.

When we reach Riley's place I hop out of the car and look back giving him one last of my big smiles. "Text me" I in a demanding but chill tone.

"You better text back" he teases then finally say our goodbyes.

I watch carefully as he drives off in his all black Rang Rover. The breeze hitting my hot flushed cheeks. I drop my head back and breathe in. I haven't felt so alive in years I tell myself.

I'm yanked out of my moment when I hear someone shout my name.

"Stella! The fuck you doing?" Riley shouts out loud behind me.

I snap around fast. Riley stands there at the doorway with a blanket around her shoulders looking confused as ever. I start giggling as I walk towards her.

"I'm back from my date" I give her a teaser of my day causing her eyes to go wide.

"Hold up, let me go get the food real quick" she rushes off into her house leaving the door open for me. I walk inside following her behind as we make our way to the kitchen.

Riley rushes to the fridge bringing out all kinds of snacks for us to eat.

"Well I mean the tea isn't going to be that amazing now" I tell Riley.

She simply shrugs her shoulders. "I'm just hungry"

As we eat I begin telling her my "date"

"He's only 20?" Riley jolts up in shock. "No way, he's lying" she says.

"I'm serious. That's what he told me" I take a bite of a banana looking at Riley's shocked face.

Riley proceeds to shake her head. "Nope I call bullshit"

"He said that it's a genetic thing in their family and that his whole family matures at a young age" I tell her his explanation.

Riley takes in the info, Calculating it is what it seems like. "Hmmm" She eats her chips slowly still thinking. "Okay"

We babble on for quite awhile before it's time to go back home. She kindly drops me back off home aware of my details today except for my parents.

I say goodbye and rush inside hoping my parents aren't downstairs. Sadly my wish didn't come true.

"Stella?" My dad shouts.

I drop my shoulders and walk over to the living room. I see my parents lying down on the couch while watching a movie.

My parents look over at me and smile. "Hi honey, where have you been?" My mom asks.

"At Riley's house as per usual" I brush off.

"Oh okay there's leftovers if your hungry" she gestures towards the kitchen.

I say thank you and head upstairs leaving myself with my thoughts for the night.
