That Man

Just thought this picture looked really beautiful, so just had to post it on this chapter.

I wake up to the sounds of birds chirping cheerily while the owls hoot in the distance. The sun spills through the cracks of my shutters, making me happy inside for some odd reason. I wake up with a smile already on my face. I'm pretty sure I slept the whole night with a smile on my face if I'm not mistaken. I remember clearly smiling while I closed my eyes and thought about us.

     Yesterday was something that made me feel like a basic normal teenager with just a simple boyfriend who means no harm, but affection.

     Feeling already boosted with energy, I jolt up and leap to my shutters. Swinging them wide open, I wrap my fingers to the hing of the lock to open my window. As I slide it open, the breeze hits me like a hurricane. I inhale the nature scent into my nostrils, feeling once again, serene.

     "Perfect" I gleam.

     After a whole minute of staring at trees and the perfect baby blue sky, I hope off my bed and head over to my restroom to take my morning shower to get ready for school.

     When I reach campus, I scan my eyes for my bestfriend. I need to tell her everything that happened on our little date, and of course spill the deets on how Zack's such an amazing kisser.

     So as I pace around the halls, I finally spot her. I can't help giggle as I see her sucking Aidens face off so passionately. How cute. I laugh to myself. I walk over and give her a feisty poke on her side, earning a yelp in mid of her make out session.

     She snaps her neck over to me with a deadly glare waiting to punch someone in the face, but  it softens once she realizes it's me.

     "Hey, I got some stuff..."I wink to Riley.

     "I want some drugs" Aiden pouts beside Riley as his arms snake around her waist.

     "Oh sorry, I only have a few to spare. Maybe next time" I pat his shoulder, which he continues to sulk more.

     As I was about to continue talking, I'm quickly yanked from behind. Large hands overtake my body into their arms making me lose my balance.

     I place a hand behind me needing to hold onto something as I almost fall, but only to be intertwined with someone's hand. I wonder who's hand it is?

     "Good morning, gorgeous" Zack whispers besides my ear, sending multiple chills throughout my body. 

     In a swift motion I twirl around embracing my hands around his neck. I swing in for a big kiss, pressing my lips firmly on his. After a good 4 seconds I release myself off of him and turn around back to Riley.

"Well later love birds" I wave my hand to Riley and Aiden, and head off with Zack.

"Let's go somewhere this weekend" he says while twirling my hair around. I look up towards him as I lick my lollipop, narrowing my eyes as if I'm studying him carefully.

"Where?" I ask.

He stares at my lips for a good while before thinking again. He looks up and thinks over a little more, before finally coming to a conclusion.

"We can go out to my parents lake house this Saturday" And he says those words, I instantly start to feel giddy inside. Lake house. Alone. "The lake is beautiful at night when the moon is full and bright. I think you'll enjoy it"

     My mouth turns wide, giving him a blessed smile. "Say less" I say while putting the lollipop back into my mouth.

     At the moment, I'm scrunched up besides Zack with my legs folded up while I lay my head against his shoulder. I swear sometimes I could accidentally fall asleep on his shoulder as he softly caresses my body with his.
