Chapter Fourteen

Megan's POV

"Hey Meg? We have a gig! And I know you will love it!" Alicia's voice beamed. I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

"Where?" My voice croaked.

"That bar where they held the battle of bands! The bar is really a big hit now" She said then I smiled. Its where our career started. "Get ready cause we still need to practice there!" She added.

"Okay!" I stood up and ran to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth. Then I dried my hair. Im deciding to dye my hair back to blonde, just to scare the hell out of them. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow.

I walked out and went to my closet. I choose to wear my ripped jeans, tank top, leather jacket and combat shoes. I curled the tips of hair and put make up on. Once Im done making myself good, I shoved my wallet and phone to my pocket. I walked out of my room and saw my bandmates chasing around.

"Kim! Give me my phone back!" Bella chased Kim.

"Uh-uh, Im going to watch you tonight babe! Be cool!" Kim said as reads the messages. "Im always cool babe, see you tonight" Kim continues. Bella shrieked.

"Alicia!" Bella whined. Then Alicia sighed.

"Kim give Bella her phone, Hannah! Get out already! Were heading down right now!" Alicia shouted. Then Hannah stumbled out of her room. "Finally! Now lets go!" Then we followed Alicia out. When we got to the Bar, memories started to flood in my mind.

"There they are! My girls are back!" Nikolai's voice beamed. He's the owner of the bar. We worked for him for about a year and half.

"Nik!" Hannah ran towards him and hugged him. "Its good to see you again!" She smiled.

"Me too. I really appreciated that you all accepted our offer" He smiled.

"We owe you Nik" Alicia smiled. "And were free for you!" She hugged him. I wanted to hug Nik. I missed him so much. Without him we wont be here.

"And this must be Megan's sister" He turned to me then I smiled at him.

"Im Maddison" I extended my hand.

"Nice to meet you. Im Nikolai" He grabs my hand and pulled me to him. He was hugging me. I missed Nikolai. He was the one who gave us an opportunity to live our dreams and now we are on top of it. "Im sorry for your loss, Meg and I were super close back then" He said as we pulled away from the hug.

"Its okay. Its not your fault" I smiled at him. Then we went up to the stage and started practicing. Alicia, Bella and Kim laughed because my drum set was overly pink. "Very funny guys, where's my drum set?" I asked.

"You can use mine" A familiar voice offered.

"Ashton!" Nikolai exclaimed. "What brings you here?!" He walked straight to Ashton.

"I was told that some band are going to have a comeback here, so I just checked" He winked at me. "I brought my drum set with me, Maddison can use it" He said then some men are carrying drums and replacing the pink drum set. I mouthed a thank you at him and he just smiled and nod his head. Then we continued our practice. Ashton was just watching us practicing. I really missed this place.

-Night time-

"Woah, this place is better than I imagined" I said. The lights and dance floor was amazing. The teens are in the first floor, adults are in the second floor and the VIP Rooms are in the third floor.

"Yeah. Its really big now" Ashton said while smiling down at me.

"How I wish I can tell Nikolai that Im megan" I sighed.

"You can though" I looked at Ashton then frowned. "I know, i know. You cant because of management but what if just what if, stand out for yourself" Then he puts his arm to my waist. "I'll be there with you all the way" He kissed my forehead. All the memories flooded to me.

"Thank you Ash" I hugged him.

"Hellooooo everyone!" Nikolai greeted us all. "This night is a special night because we have some special guest who will be performing in this stage!" He smiled and winked at us. "Give it up for the MJ band!" Then everyone in the room applauded.

"Show time" Ashton whispered to my ear. Making me shiver and blush. Then we went up to the stage.

"Good evening! Some of you might know us but some may not" Alicia started. "This club built us as a band. Without Nikolai and this club we wont be famous and living our dreams. This song is dedicated to Nikolai! hope ya'll enjoy it" Then I started banging the drums then the crowds went wild. Everyone moved to the beat and when Alicia started singing all of them hollered.

This is what I love, to be admired on what we are doing right now, on stage. I love watching the audience happy and swaying to the music. If I could have one wish before I die, is to perform one more time on stage with my band.

I saw Ashton waving and smiling at me. We could be together for years if I wasn't been a coward. I admit it. Im a coward but its for his sake and my sake. I loved Niall but I love Ashton more. He's like my other half. He never stopped on loving me even though I tried to move on. I looked at Ashton again and he mouthed 'I love you'. I smiled at him and winked.

When our performance was done we partied and took some shots. Ashton was talking to Nikolai. I went outside to get some fresh hair. I sniffed as the air was brushing to my face.

"Meg?" I turned around to see who was calling my name.

"What do you want Niall?" I said while walking towards the bar. He chuckled. I stopped at my place and turn around. "Why are you laughing?" I scowl at him.

"Sorry" He smiled at me but this smiled is different. "I just missed you" A hint of hurt was evident. A tear had slipped from my eye. "Im really Sorry Meg" I looked at him.

"Niall" He looked at me. "Thank you for everything" I started. "We can still be friends" He smiled at me.

"Yeah. I would love that"
