Chapter Three

ASHTON'S POV

"Uhmm Guys. I'll meet you all later?" I asked the boys.

"Why are you wearing all black? Did someone died?" Calum asked.

"My friend's mother died" I said. "I'll be back by 2 o'clock" I added.

"Oh. Okay" Luke said then I went out of our apartment.

"Lets go?" I asked Megan. She just nod.

"Thanks Ash" She smiled.

"Anything for you" Then we went out to my car. I opened the door at the front seat for her.

The whole car ride was quiet. Megan is fighting her tears. I hold her leg.

"You can cry babe" I said while looking at the driveway. Then she started crying. I gave her the tissue box. When were at the cemetery. She stopped crying. We went out of the car.

She glance another look at her mother before she can never see her again. I accompanied her at the coffin. When she was finish glancing she hugged me.

"Ashton" Her voice croaked.

"Its alright. You'll be fine. Im never leaving you" I hugged her. Then they buried her mother's coffin. All of her relatives and friends were there.

When it was finish we went back to the car.

"Are you alright babe?" I asked her.

"I missed mom. Its been 3 years since I last saw her" She cried again. I felt guilty. It was my fault that she hadn't seen her mother. Its because of me.

"Im sorry"

"Don't be. Its not your fault Ash" She smiled then I hugged her. After that we drove off to the arena where the boys are practicing. I parked my car at the back entrance. We got out of the car and then went inside.

"Hey guys" I said then the boys had their jaws opened.

"What is she doing here?" Calum asked.

I intertwined my fingers to hers. "We got back together"

"Lets talk in the dressing room" Luke said then we followed him.

"What are we going to talk about?" I asked.

Luke sighed. "Management will break your relationship. Did you thought about that Ashton?" Luke asked.

"I know but she is one of my past relationships" I hesitated. "I cant just let them control me" I added.

"Were happy for the both of you but Ashton you've been settled up with Gemma Styles now" Michael said. "Harry will be disappointed" He added.

"I hate to say this but they're right Ashton. I think its better when we part ways. You have a nice career here and I have a career in New york" Megan said.

"No" I stopped. "You cant do this Meg"

"Ashton, Its for the better" She said then the boys went out to give us privacy. "Let destiny decided if were meant to be or not. We will see each other again someday and maybe we will be famous like you" She smiled then hugged she hugged me.

"I love you please remember that" I kissed her forehead.

She pulled away from the hug. "I love you too Ashton" Then she went out. Leaving me there alone. Its hard to process all of this. All thats running in my mind is that I lost her again.

MEGANS POV

"Im leaving guys, please take care of Ashton for me" I said to boys.

"Were so sorry Megan but its for the sake of our band" Luke said. Then I hugged them all.

"Its okay guys. See you in the future" I winked then I went out of the arena and went back home.

I took my luggage and went out of my apartment. I packed my things ready. I will leave today.

Im now at the airport waiting for my plane to arrive. I plugged in my earphones. After an hour of waiting my plane finally arrived then I went aboard.

I never looked back. I dont want to say goodbye to this beautiful place yet. This place gave so much memory to treasure and keep. I will come back here eventually. Happy and famous. I will see Ashton again.

I was gone for 3 years and never had closure with him but now I can finally live happy and think that I can come here again for a reason.
