Doc x Reader

~Doc's POV~

There was a new operator being added to the team and we know next to nothing about them. I looked to my fellow teammates as I debated in my mind what we should do to welcome them. As if they were reading my mind my team shrugged and looked back to Six.
"Now they just got out of their 5th tour in Iraq so there will be a small adjustment period since she has shown some signs of PTSD. Nothing to worry about though Valkyrie and Blackbeard you two will be most relatable with her since she's a Navy Seal Black Ops. Kateb I'm going to need you to keep a good watch on her just to make sure that she doesn't have an episode. Due to her PTSD until it's under control she will not be deployed on missions yet."
"Ma'am May we know her name?"
"Her name is (Y/n) (L/n). Her original nationality is France and her code name is Viper. You are all dismissed."
As my team and I walked out of the conference room I made eye contact with Twitch. She looked at the rest and nodded in understanding. She turned and left in the direction of her spot in the control room to find out more about the new operator. If she is originally from France there is a chance that she is an ex GIGN operator. Even if she isn't she'll be welcomed into our small French family.
"Kateb."
"Six, please call Gustave or Doc."
"She will be arriving early in the morning and I ask that you be there to greet her and give her a tour of HQ. She'll be arriving at 0500."
"I shall be there." She nodded then slightly smirked and walked away. I was confused by the gesture but shrugged it off and headed to my dorm seeing as it was 0800 (8 pm) I will be needing as much rest as I can get. I nodded to everyone as I walked by taking note that Dokkaebi and Echo were snuggling closely. I couldn't help but stop and think of my own age seeing as I was nearly 40 and being in my line of work finding a wife and having children is a probability that's next to not happening. I sighed and shook the thoughts from my mind I need to rest.

               ~The Next Morning~

   I woke up earlier than I expected at 0400, and decided I would go and grab a muffin or bagel from the cafeteria. When I walked in Dokkaebi was already wide awake and eating what looked like a burger. I grabbed a bagel and cream cheese and some coffee then sat across from her. She looked up and smiled brightly at me. "Hello Gustave how are you this morning?"
   I took a sip of my coffee, "Awake. I couldn't sleep properly last night."
   "Is it because we're getting a new operater?"
   "Yes. Her name sounds so familiar yet everytime I get close to seeing a face it just slips away."
   "Maybe she is someone you met while working straight from the GIGN HQ?"
   "Hmm.. Maybe I don't remember." I looked down at my watch which read 0430. "Why are you up so early?"
   "Oh Masaru snores in his sleep so waking up at 0400 has become quite a habit."
   I smiled, "It is nice to see that even though the job we work is dangerous and somewhat horrifying there is still love to be found." She smiled and looked down at her watch.
   "We both need to go Doc I promised Masaru that I would make him a traditional breakfast from my home, and you promised Six that you'd pick up the new operator. Have a good morning Doc and good luck." She turned and left in the direction of her dorm.
   "Now to meet this new operator." After a short walk to the helipad I waited only for a moment until I saw a helicopter approaching from the distance. I waited until the noise died down to approach. As she climbed out of the helicopter she turned and looked at me and I knew who she was. "(Y/n)?"
   She smiled brightly and ran over to believe me a hug. "Gustave?! Oh mon Dieu, je pensais que je ne te reverrais plus jamais!"(Oh my God, I thought I'd never see you again.)
   "Ne t'inquiète. Je suis là maintenant." (Don't worry. I am here now.) She smiled then pulled me into another bone crushing hug. I helped her pickup her bags and showed her to her dorm.
   "So the Navy Seals black ops huh?" She grimaced a bit but smiled after.
   "After serving in GIGN I decided I wanted to try and become more. So I went to America and became American Navy Seal."
