Doc x Reader Part 2

          ~Doc POV~

   "This base is very large for a top secret operation." (Y/n) looked around at all of the recruits and operators alike in awe. "I was expecting it to be a little smaller from what Six described it as. Six said that she brings operators on two at a time usually. Has my counterpart arrived yet?"
I shook my head. "No not yet. We haven't even been debriefed over them until they're about to arrive." I looked into her eyes remembering our youth through our training and missions through GIGN. How have we grown apart? Why did she leave in the first place?
   "You are wandering why I left GIGN aren't you? Well it was simple. I gained feelings for someone I was very close to and I couldn't let anyone use that to their advantage, but now it will be just as dangerous." She said as she continued walking and I followed behind her.
   "Well am I allowed to know who this mystery man is?" I asked her as soon as she was within earshot. Her hand ran up her arm in a nervous gesture. One she had always had trouble subduing. "Oh I know that gesture. It is someone close to you..." I brought my hand to my chin in thought and I heard her scoff.
   "It's you, nunuche." I looked up at her surprised.
   "Did you just say me? As in me? Gustave Kateb, the annoying medic, me?" She laughed and patted my shoulder.
   "You have more going for you than you let on." She gained what looked like a pained grimace. However, as quickly as it appeared it disappeared. "If you'll excuse me I'm tired from my trip and need a nap." She turned and walked in the direction of her dorm. A message pinged on my phone, and I checked it to see who it was from.
   Six: A new operator will be arriving this evening. A debriefing will be held in 30 minutes.
   Sighing I headed in the direction of the briefing room still reeling from (Y/n)'s confession. The thought of leaving the GIGN and getting a normal civilian job to lead a normal life with her? It had crossed my mind so many times in our younger days that I had actually typed up a resignation at the time. She had shown slight interest then, and I'm not sure where I would be now if we had acted on our feelings then. I'm not sure where we will be if we act on those feelings now. We are both too deep into government secrets to just leave at this point. I arrived at the room and took my usual seat with the rest of my team.
   "Vipers counterpart is finally gracing us with her presence this evening. Code name: Phantasm, apparently goes by Tas for short. Real name: Cassidy O'Kelly, country of origin Ireland. Former Royal Intelligence, current SAS operator." The SAS guys fist bumped and silently cheered. "Seamus she arrives at 1500 hours be there, because I told her to expect a familiar voice." Sledge perked up and nodded.
   "Yes ma'am. Anything else we should know about this operator?" Seamus (Sledge) looked at Six intensly.
   "Yes she is blind, but make no mistake she's just as deadly as you are." On that ominous note she shut her binder and walked out of the room.
   "A blind op? What is Six thinking?" Lira (Finka) said slightly angry. "If she can't actually see where she is going how will she be of help?"
   "If this is who I believe it is you will not believe the tech she has invented to help her see. Her hearing and sense of smell is immaculate so don't underestimate her." Seamus laughed after he was done talking. He looked over to Grace (Dokkaebi). "Can I see your mirror for a moment?" She tossed it to him, and he quickly checked his reflection. Mark (Mute) leaned over to him and whispered something causing Seamus to laugh then playfully punch him. "I know she can't see me, but I still want to look my best." He tossed the mirror back to its owner and strutted out of the room.
   "Whats the deal with him?" I asked the SAS boys and they looked at eachother. "Is she his lover or something?"
   "More like he has a massive crush on her, but what he doesn't know is that she has one on him too." James (Smoke) coughed then ubruptly stood then left as well. Then everyone decided to go on about their business waiting to be introduced to the new operators.

         Alrighty! Sorry about the break inbetween chapters I have been crazy busy! Honestly I didn't even think my book would would seen at all. I'm going to try to work on more, but now I have the two new operators introduced and I will take requests. The name of the operator you want to see and maybe an idea for the chapter of you have one.
