   the bell rings as soon as i zip up my backpack.
   "remember class, projects are due monday, so make sure you and your partner finish up!" my biology teacher exclaims to an almost empty class.
   i walk to my locker and am in the process of stuffing binders into my backpack when i see todd, my partner walk up to me.
   "hey (y/n), i finished the paragraph for section three." he says.
   "oh, that's good. the library didn't have any books on human anatomy, so i kind of winged it and wrote down stuff from my journal."
   todd chuckles and says, "that's okay. so where do you wan--"
   "hey baby." i hear daniel say as he kisses my forehead.
   i smile and answer, "hey daniel. um, todd this is daniel, my boyfriend. daniel this is todd."
   "hey, i know you! you're the karate kid! nice to meet you, man!" todd exclaims as he holds out his hand.
   daniel shakes it and turns to me, "hey, let's get going. miyagi is gonna get mad if i'm late one more time." he says.
   "wait, lemme just finish up with todd here, okay?" i turn to todd and say, "okay, um, do you think you could print out some photos to place on the poster board?"
   todd and i continue talking about the project, and i can tell daniel's starting to get annoyed. he wraps his arms around my waist and rests his chin on my shoulder. after a while he starts kissing my neck.
   i laugh, "okay, okay daniel, let's go. todd, let's meet at the park, 'kay?"
    todd nods and says goodbye, and daniel sighs in relief.
   "he better not try anything. you're mine and only mine." daniel whispers as he pulls me closer.
