~A week since Haven has been home~
Me- Soooo we are working on a new album!
3 hours later
Lachy- THATS AWESOME! How's it going so far?
Me- It's going good. Ezra has been non-stop with writing
2 hours later
Lachy- That's great!
Me- Yeah...
4 hours later
Lachy- Yeeee
Me- Okay, is this just gonna be awkward now?
The next day
Lachy- No, I'm sorry. I've just been busy
Me- Busy? Hm. We hardly even talked this week
Lachy- ok I'm sorry. I can talk now
Me- Why are you so busy?
Lachy- Editing and my friends are hosting a lot of parties
Me- Oh. Alright
Lachy- Yeah
Me- Well what are you doing tonight? Maybe we can video chat?
Lachy- Crap, I can't. I was going to livestream
Me- oh. Okay
Lachy- Yeah
Me- Anything exciting happening?
Lachy- Not really, Well, my friend is getting married in a few weeks
Me- Ahhh so ur going to his wedding?
Lachy- Yup
Me-That's fun
Lachy- Yep :D
Me- Well I got to hit the studio now ✌🏻
Lachy- Alright. Talk soon then. I love you
Me- Yeah... love you too...
I put my phone away in my hoodie pocket and drove to the studio. I met Chelsea, Ezra and Harry there.
"Hey, are you guys ready to write?"
I asked them. Harry and Chelsea nodded but Ezra shook his head.
"Nah, I'm ready to record."
Ezra told us. We all widened our eyes.
"Um, no way. We have only 3 songs fully written for this album. We need more time before recording."
Chelsea reminded Ezra. Harry and I agreed. Ezra sighed.
"Fine but guys, we need to catch up. We finished touring a while ago and we need to be making new music."
Ezra complained. Harry shrugged.
"Okay so we'll work extra hard these 2 weeks. Every day we can come to the studio. If people want more content faster, then they are just going to have to wait."
Harry responded.
"Harry is right. I'd rather make good music and have it released later than make decent music and have it released earlier. They can wait."
I added. We finally all nodded.
"Alright. So we're coming to the studio every day for at least now."
