Chapter 11- The Parent... O They were never married, The Friend Trap

The team trys to get Wanda and Bruce together.

Bruce was in the lab working with Tony and Peter around 4am. Peter leaves for "bed", Tony heads for coffee. Yo Bruce, do you want some Joe?
Yeah that's a good idea! Alright I'll bring back your usual.

In the kitchen Tony makes both coffees, Wanda walks in from the bedroom looking for some milk.
She half smiles. Hi Tony she said with a smile. He smiled back and replied. Morning Wanda, rough night? Yeah couldn't sleep so I got on up. He smiles, Coffee? That would be nice.
So he poured her a mug and thought up a plan.
Hi Wanda could you take Bruce his? I want to go check on Pep.
She smiled. Sure.

Bruce is working when Wanda enters. Bruce I have your coffee, Tony went to check on Pepper.
He smiled. That seems like a thing he'd do around this time.
She went to walk down the lab steeps but slipped and fell but caught herself weird.
Bruce went to check on her. Are you alright Wanda? She took his hand and got up. Yeah I'm fine, Should have been more careful.
He frowns and looks at the steeps. Never expect Tony to clean up after himself. She smiled and sat down on a stool as Bruce cleaned up the mag pieces on the floor before cleaning up the cut she received on her knee.

So Bruce what are you working on? She curiously asked.
He smiled, always happy to talk science.
Well SHIELD is having a problem with there clocking teck, Nat's gun is jamed again, and the Stark men are working on suit upgrades.
She smiled. Speaking of suit upgrades my suit got torn During the last mission, could you take a look at it? Normally I'd ask Nat but she's still at SHIELD handling who knows.
He chuckled yeah she always puts the mission first, sure I'll see what I can do.
Until breakfast he just fixed her suit as they made small talk.

After breakfast Pepper asked MJ if she thought part one of the plan worked.
She looked over at the two happily talking about who knows she smiled and said Yes.
Fury was in on part two. Around 11 he called for Tony to come to the heliycairier for an important meeting.
As he went to Leave Pepper asked what about lunch? He called back will reschedule! Tony you know you can't cancel the day of at this place. She reminded him. He said just see if anyone else wants to go in our place. Than he flew off.
She asked 2 people 1 had been pre arranged.
Pete do you and MJ want to go out for lunch? Sorry Mom MJ and Gwen have plans. (Pre arranged)
She than went to Cap.
Steve would you and Peggy like to go out for lunch?
He frowned. Sorry Pepper we are going to see Sharon today.
She than thought aloud. Scott and hope- no out of town, Thor and Jane? No there at Loki and Valkyrie wedding.
Bruce asked Pepper. If you want I could go with you. He scratched the back of his neck before Wanda spoke up. How about I go with Bruce since everyone else is busy?
Pepper smiles sounds good to me, unless you don't want to Bruce?
He looks at Wanda than to Pepper. Sure I'll go.

At lunch the two had a great time. After lunch they were walking back and encountered a wild drunk Deadpool leaving a bar. Hi Red, you look beautiful in that dress!
Bruce was angry now. He got in front of Wanda. Wade what the He*l Is wrong with you? She isn't into you so leave her alone!
Deadpool laughed. What do you know Banner, the last Woman you were with was a hot Russian assassin who left you the nerdy underdog for pardon my highschool movie reference the Quarterback!
Bruce punched him right in the nose. I know Woman are people and not objects Wade!

He than turned back to Wanda. Sorry about that, are you alright wan... Before he could finish Wanda kissed him. That's the bravest most heroic thing I've ever seen someone do for me. If you're free I plan on seeing a movie next Friday, if you want a second date?
He kissed her back. I'd love too!

Back at the tower everyone is smiling and celebrating that the plan worked, happy there friends found happiness.
