We arrived at Isaac's house around two." You ready? " giggles Dawn. " Ummm I guess?" I say nervously.
We get out of the car and walk up to his house. We check all the windows to make sure no one is there, and take out our washable spray paint. " Perfect!" Dawn says as she sees the new Camaro in the driveway. " Are you sure about this Dawn?" I ask still doubtful that her so called " full proof plan " will work. ( can you blame me? ) " Of course I'm sure! He did throw a water balloon at you after all, so I don't get why your hesitating." I roll my eyes, it bothers me that she is right about this. I shouldn't be hesitating.
I grab the spray paint from her hands " Lets just do this. " I huff a breath, two breaths. Then I'm running to the driveway and I dive behind the car. I cant help but feel like I'm breaking the law here. Oh wait I AM!
I push away my thoughts and quickly give the black spray paint a good shake. Dawn appears next to me and nods her head " Be careful not to leave fingerprints. " she mocks. I spray her jeans and give a sly smile. She scowls, but I'm already spraying the message on his car.
It takes a good five minutes before we get it all over his car, but once we do Dawn fills up the water balloons using the hose and we run to the bushes in his front yard.
I sit quietly waiting but Dawn on the other hand figures that she should get comfortable, very noisily. I sigh and she looks at me sweetly " What? I'm pretty sure we're gonna be here for a while so why not?" she says while pulling out her phone to play candy crush.
I'm seriously bout to take her phone when I hear a skateboard and Isaac comes rolling up, but there is a problem. He is with Lance. " CRAP! " I whisper to Dawn. She quickly puts her phone down and grabs a water balloon. " You get Isaac I got Lance OK?" I nod " OK ".
" So you think you can hang out Lance? My dad is out and..." that's when he sees what we put on his brand new Camaro. " Number? <3 J "
For a second he just stares at the spray paint while Lance is dying of laughter on the the road. Rolling around when A car stops inches from his face. It honks and he gets up slowly still laughing ( the car had to stop? )
This is when Isaac snaps too " Freaking Janice!!!" he growls almost inhuman like. " Relax Isaac we'll just try to wash it off with the hose." Me and Dawn both freeze. " Oh shiznip " I mouth to her.
Lance gets off his skateboard and makes his way to the hose ( which just so happens to be a few feet from us) while Isaac checks out the damage to the car.
Dawn smiles at me as Lance starts grab the hose, she gets up and throws a water balloon that explodes in his face." WTH?!" I instantly shoot up and throw one at Isaac, me and Dawn run as fast as we can down the rode and the boys are close behind.
We are about halfway down the block when we reach an alley and we quickly jump behind a few recycling bins.
The boys get to the alley only seconds later saying some very unkind things under their breaths. "Come on they went this way." says Isaac, their footsteps getting fainter as they walk farther.
I let out a sigh of relief and both of us giggle. " Its starting to get late we should head home." says Dawn. " OK " I reply after my fit of giggles.
Dawn stands up and walks out of the alley as I brush myself off. " Dawn?" I don't hear her footsteps anymore and its a lot darker then I thought. I curse the cold season for bringing the dark so much sooner. " Dawn come on its not funny!" I hear a second pair of footsteps and I let out a sigh of relief but catch myself because soon I hear another.
" Oh frick!" laughing along with footsteps gaining on me, I make a sharp turn and run out on to the rode. Its bright from the street posts I feel slightly better as I stand under a light. one figure appears out of the shadows and one grabs me from behind covering my mouth, no one can hear my muffled screams.
I see Dawn's phone in one of the shadowed figures pocket. I will not go down like this I will not be raped. I kick the one behind me in the groin as the other tries to hold my arms. He groans and I know I suddenly have the advantage. I grab the one in front of me and punch him in the jaw, hard.
Finally the hand loosens on my mouth and I bite. He lets out a little yelp and I scream, but the other is quick to muffle it off. I continue to writhe and squirm but the one who holds my mouth is too strong and I realize this is going no where. I have no option but to cooperate as the pull me along covering my eyes.
