I was almost asleep but I got a worrying text from benji so I got up and quickly ran to his house. I knocked on the door once. I noted that it was late at night and no ones awake so I let myself in. I ran and opened benjis door and he wasn't there. So I went to the left and opened the bathroom. It was a terrifying scene. There was spilt pills bottle every where, puke all over the toilet seat. And benji lying in the middle of the cold bathroom floor.
"B-benji please don't die on me" I said while running to him and hugging him.
I was balling my eyes out and I think benjis mom heard me since she came into the bathroom and seen what had just happened.
"Oh no, what happened to my boy!" Benjis mom said while taking him out of my arms.
She eventually told me to call 911 so I did so.
"911 whats you emergency?" The lady on the other side said.
"M-my friend he over dosed on pills."
"Sir, does he still have a pulse?" She asked
"I'll g-go check" I said barely being able to talk.
I went into the bathroom and checked his pulse. He was still breathing but very harshly.
"Y Yes Hes breathing"
"Ok, where are you?"
"*insert address*" I said.
"Ok where Sending someone over, please stay on the phone" the nice lady stated.
"Ok."
We waited 10 minutes and we finally heard the sirens. They took benji on a stretcher.
"You better get going. Thank you for finding benji, it means the world. But you should get going your parents are probably worried" she said while basically shooing me out the door.
Yeah my drunken abusive dad is worried about me alright.
I walked home and the beautiful sunrise made me forget about everything. I need to talk to syd.
I finally got to the door. I walked in so my dad wouldn't hear me. I got to my room and locked my door, I grabbed my phone and clicked on syds contact. Note that I was still crying from benji.

He said before seeing my face that was stained read from all the crying.
S: jey what happend!
J: i t-think benjis d-dead because of m-me.
S: why would he be dead?
J: He's in the hospital rn.

I said and hung up the phone. I'm trying to forget him. I don't like him. I'm straight.

"hey bro. theres a party next weekend you up for it?" milo said
I gained enough brain power to say a very slight response
"yeah, ill be there" I said in a very quiet tone.
"so you up for making fun of that faggot?" milo said.
"I-I don't think h-hes here t-today" I said not even wanting to say another word.

I broke down crying the middle of the hallway al the students who always greet me ran to me exept milo he just laughed. the other students brought me to the office. the secretary kept asing me questions to find out what was wrong. but it hurts to speak so just sat there and stared into space.
"ok we are calling your father to talk to you if you wont"
"no please. im fine can I just go?" I said holding back more tears.
"yes" the woman said while pickimg up the phone
I started to walk out but before I could the woman told me to wait in the foyer someone is picking me up to go to the hospital.
