Donghyuck sat on a little sofa in front of the dressing room as Harin was trying on the heaps of clothing that he had picked out for her. She knew he had a different sense of fashion, but she didn't realize how extreme it was until he got down to business. Immediately picking out extravagant dresses and putting outfits together that would complement her body.
Harin came out of the room in a tight plaid skirt, white crop top, and a black leather jacket. She had an unsure expression painted on her face as she looked down at the seated boy.
"You look great!" He exclaimed.
"Are you sure?" She questioned him, reaching to pull down at the ends of her skirt, fearing that it was showing too much.
"Yeah... but it's not you."
Something about his words made her feel giddy inside, knowing that he paid enough attention to know her personality, to know what made her comfortable and what didn't.
This feeling, however, vanished after about ten minutes as Harin grew frustrated tugging down the final dress. Donghyuck had politely said 'no' to every outfit, somehow finding some flaw in each one. Harin was growing exasperated and the angry noises emanating from her stomach wasn't helping at all.
She grumbled with an arched eyebrow as she turned around to look at her reflection in the mirror, her expression softening upon gazing at herself. The mustard yellow dress was covered in polka dots and stopped just above her knee. Its sweetheart neckline being held by thin straps as it hugged her waist before cascading down her body.
It was her.
Harin smiled softly to herself, wondering what the boy sitting outside would think. She shook off the skittish feeling before turning around to open the door that separated her from Donghyuck, bracing herself for his thoughts. Would he dislike this one as well?
Upon hearing the sound of the lock being fiddled with, Donghyuck looked up from his phone, his jaw dropping as Harin's figure came into view. He simply let his eyes travel down her body, awestruck by how well the dress was complimenting her frame.
Harin played with the ring on her finger as she was met with Donghyuck's silence, awaiting his response.
"So... what do you think?" The girl inquired, twirling around in front of him.
"Beautiful..." He said soft, almost as a whisper.
"You look beautiful." Standing up swiftly, he walked over to her.
Harin's face flushed at the comment. Her skin igniting on fire once Donghyuck placed his hands on her waist, pulling her closer to him, allowing her face to come in contact with his chest. Harin could only look down as her heart skipped a beat.
Lee Donghyuck was the epitome of the devil in sheep's clothing. His dense stare and breathtaking beauty never failed to hide his actions and curses.
The sunkissed boy rested a hand on Harin's jaw, bringing her to meet his eyes. The girl felt trapped as she looked into Donghyuck's mysterious orbs that somehow always had a hint of mischief shining through his long eyelashes. It was as if she was under some spell that restricted her from moving as Lee Donghyuck leaned in, their lips mere centimeters away from each other.
Harin could only close her eyes awaiting for contact that would send electric shocks through her veins. Unlike the previous night, she was ready this time. She wanted it more than anything this time around.
But it never came.
She fluttered her eyes open, resting a hand on the boy's chest, attempting to grasp his attention. However, his mind seemed to be elsewhere as his chocolate orbs seemed to trail off to their right.
