Walking amongst the individuals who strayed from the distant world Trinity had revolved in throughout the last day or so, Trinity held onto herself and kept her head down. Was this the real world? It couldn't have been. The soft breeze brushed along her exposed skin, breezing through her short hair, making her brown locks frail. The sounds of the tapping from beneath as she walked along the hardened cemented to create a beautiful, elegant design on the ground.
She stopped on a cliff overlooking a populated part of the small city. The buildings stood tall, and the sounds of the roaring crowds echoed despite their ant-like size. Her body shivered, her eyes shut and she fell down to crouch. The difference between reality and fiction was difficult, not even the big that crawled along the cliff did not seem real.
Suddenly, the sounds of screens amassed the populated area. Trinity's eyes opened immediately to glance down, spotting a person with a dirty overcoat on running amongst the crowd. The person wore their hood over their head, covering their identity. The mysterious person rushed to a teenage girl who still had on her high school uniform and stabbed her in the stomach, amassing much more screams from the people. The high school student fell down to the ground as the killer dropped on top of her, stabbing her ever so more. Stab, stab, stab. Gush, gore, blood. Oh, how crimson the blood portrayed.
"Hey!" A man rushed to the scene, pulling the killer off the victim and throwing them to the ground, "What the hell do you think you're doing!?"
"It was her! She told me to do it!" The person spoke. Their voice was cloaked by a deeper echo in the background, making their voice sound much more disturbing, "Gush, gore, blood! She wants nothing but pain and agony!"
The man growled in frustration as some people went to the high school girl's assistance until the paramedics could arrive. His dirty, big hand grabbed at their hood and pulled it off, shouting from what he had revealed; it was of a girl with short brown hair, her face was full of long and deep scars. Her eyes were pure white, with no sense of eye color to be resembled. A deep red color overshadowed her pale skin, whether it was a sincere blush or an angry enrage. Her lips formed a smile as she held up her knife and with no movements to her body, the man's head was sliced in three different ways, cutting his head clean off in three ways.
The people screamed and started running away as fast as they could, leaving the killer to stand on her feet and glance at all directions as the innocence rushed away from her. Her eyes gently blinked, and the people stopped their running. They all fell to the ground as they were suddenly dismembered into several different pieces.
Soon, the area grew quiet. More quiet than it ever had been. From what was a very populated place turned into a ghost town in mere seconds. Trinity could hear the wind screaming with her as she quietly laid down on her stomach to keep watch of the incident, and to stay out of sight. Her breathing intensified as the killing occurred, and the ground around the idle killer was stained a crimson blood. Just like what she desired.
Her lips parted, breathing in more air so that she wouldn't pass out. In an effort to stay quiet, she restricted herself of taking deep breathes. Though, once she took a deep breath, the idle killer immediately looked up at her very location. Her face was calm, with no expression at all. Splatters of blood rested upon her soft face, and her lustful body. Though, she soon grew a smirk on her face and giggled, before disappearing into the sounds of fast running.
"No-..." Trinity whispered as she stood up, looking all around her as her body began to shake uncontrollably, "This can't be real..."
As she spoke, she felt something in her hand. It was the handgun she had previously used as a weapon to kill. But could she use it here? Would it even be effective against this otherworldly girl?
She began to run in any direction, she just needed to get away from there before she was found by that strange girl. Into town, she found more dead bodies laying on the ground, sliced clean by an unsharpened knife. Some were dismembered by their heads, some were more raw where they were cut by their parting lips. Their arms, legs, fingers and toes rested beside their bodies. Trinity held in her sudden urge to vomit upon smelling the stench of death. She held in her breathing as she reluctantlh stepped over the mutilated corpses, reaching the other side after taking about ten or so steps.
"You won't get away..."
A strange voice- or rather, a mixture of different voices; man, woman, child, elderly- spoke in a dreary tone. Trinity gasped and held onto her handgun before turning around.
"You must regret turning around. Turning a blind eye would result in a calmful death."
The voices spoke once more as the body parts of the several victims began to murge together, creating a rather large disfigured female with overly long crimson red hair. Hundreds of eyes stained the face of the monster, with a long mouth that gave off a sinister smirk. The arms formed as two longer, more muscular arms, as did the legs. The monster had been naked, showing off it's man and female parts as it had been formed by both genetics.
"Death is the only answer, Trinity! Let us draw blood!"
The monster slowly thrusts it's powerful arm downward at Trinity, though she was able to successfully dive out of the way. The arm pireces through a rather large building, making the building collapse down to the ground, shooting sharp parts of metal and wood all over the area. One of the large metal parts stabs into the monster's face, crushing a number of eyes. The monster screams as it attempts to pull the sharp metal object out of it's face, giving Trinity the opportunity to stand on her face and aim the handgun up at the monster. Her aim was extremely shaky, due to her extreme panic attack, but the monster was extremely large so the possibility to misfire was low. The gun shot a bullet into the chest of the monster, the back fire drew Trinity back and the loud sound brought pain in her ears. But once she recovered from the back fire, she shot once again. Pulling on the trigger as much as she could as her eyes dropped.
"Die, die!" Trinity screamed along with the monster, pulling on the trigger even though it only made a low click sound, indicating that the gun was out of ammunition.
Her eyes opened and she proceeded to watch the monster scream in pure agony. The several gunshots penetrated numerous parts of it's body, pouring gallons upon gallons of crimson blood onto the ground. The blood started to flood over her feet, and to her thighs as the blood poured like a large waterfall.
But a large splash of blood splattered upon Trinity suddenly, she covered her face in an attempted to keep it out of her eyes. Though, when her eyes opened once again and she turned toward the monster, the monster was immediately cut in numerous parts, dismembered as it was still standing up, trying to bare with the pain of the gunshots. The dismembered parts slid off from each other, falling into the pool of crimson blood, revealing the killer woman who was standing there on the other side, being hidden by the monster previously. Her face was still cut up, and that same smirk crept upon her face.
Trinity panted and stared at the killer, making eye contact with her. She was frightened of her, but she also felt sympathetic toward her. Like she felt sorry for her. The wind around them increased it's feiry as the absence of human life became apparent.
"Don't... Don't you feel better?" The killer asked, stepping closer to Trinity slowly and with caution.
Trinity gasped, but she was so paralyzed in fear that she couldn't make her legs help her step away from her approaching, "W-What?"
"Don't you feel better that no one is around anymore?" The killer asked, stopping just in front of Trinity. Her eyes remained the pure white, but Trinity could feel the eye contact. The killer's head tilted slightly, allowing the bones in her neck to crack at every small movement, "I killed them, just as you wished."
"Just as I wished...?" Trinity whispered, almost like she wasn't able to speak too much, "Who are you-...?"
"I am you." The killer spoke softly, the back of her hand softly grazed Trinity's cheek, admiring her smooth skin, "Demento..."
"Demento...?" Trinity asked, her voice shook as she felt the touch of what was frightening her. She was terribly afraid of Demento, but feeling her touch soothed her, for some odd reason.
"I am the enbodiment of your truth. Of what was hiding inside you all these years. I am what was pleading to be released from the dark side of your mind. You are the mask, I am the flesh!" Demento spoke more so, sounding more and more passionate in her speech as her hand slowly wrapped around Trinity's throat, squeezing gently, "People made you feel uncomfortable, didn't they? They judge you, they don't understand what's happening in that pretty head of yours. They don't see what you see, but I do! I see what is truth, I can tell you the truth, the truth you put aside to let your dirty lies cover up! I am the weight that has been laying upon your shoulders, the very reason why you can't sleep at night! I am the true essence of your humanity..."
The demented voice of Demento stuck an annoying piercing pain into Trinity's head. She fell to her knees and screamed out as Demento rambled on and on.
"Shut up... I said shut up!" Trinity screamed, finally hearing the silence that was to follow.
Her eyes opened to find that Demento had disappeared. Though, a hand stricken with veins of blackness grabbed at her shoulders, clinging onto her back as the hands covered her mouth to restrict the desperate screams.
"Accept who you are! ... Accept me into your soul!"
