Chapter 14: One Month...

Trey hasn't been talking to me for the past month, but that's fine with me. I've been in my classes lately and I haven't been worrying about Trey tbh. I sat in bed and relaxed not being bothered by Karis nor Deja. Karis moved in the other day, she hasn't been messing with me lately, knowing the situation i'm in. I was on my phone scrolling through instagram and I saw my niece on my sisters page. I smiled really hard and decided to call my sister.

Phone Conversation

"Hello? Janya said excitingly "Hey big sis." I said smiling staring in the air. "Hey sis, whats up?" I sighed. "Nothing, just missing you and Kazara." I pouted, "Aww, you should've called the other day, I was nearby." "You could've stopped by!" I said smiling a little. "I know, I was a little busy that day anyways. So, are you coming down here for mommies birthday party  this weekend?" I gasped. "Oh my god, I totally forgot." Nya laughed "Oh lord, you know mommy would've kilt you if you didn't remember." I laughed along with her, "I know, I will come down there Friday." I sat up from my bed. "Alright Jordin, I better see you!" I smiled hard. "Okay Nya, I'll call you later I have things to do." "Alright sis, love you." I sighed. "Here you go with that sentimental crap, but I love you too sis." I hung up and thought about my family. I missed them so much man.

As I was getting dressed I heard my phone vibrating. I picked it up and saw I had a message from Trey. 

Trey <12:33 pm> : You busy?

I frowned at the text and replied with a simple yes then decided to brush my teeth and Karis came in my room, following where I was. "Hey boo." Karis said sitting on my bed. "Hey girl." I said looking at her. She looked at me get my shoes on without speaking. "You ok?" I asked her tensioning my brows. "Im good, the question is are YOU good?" I smiled and shook my head at her nonsense. "Of course I'm okay Kay." She stood up and hugged me. "You need to go out soon, you staying in this house all damn day after school ain't working." I laughed a little, "I'll think about it. But look, I gotta head out, I'll be back in two days." Karis nodded and left. I walked out behind her heading out the house.

I was in the car just thinking, thinking about how Trey use to be before he fucked me over. Maybe I was too harsh on him... I don't know. I rode up to the beach house and relaxed, I felt like nothing would definitely interrupt my relaxation here.

Trey POV

I jumped out the car, with food in my hands and sighed. I knocked on Shai's door and waited for an answer. Shai opened the door looking at me, but moving to the side to let me in. I sat down on the couch and kicked off my shoes. I gave Shai the bag of food, then I looked at her eat. "Trey you good?" She asked me laying her hand on my chest. I faintly smiled. "Uh yeah.. i'm straight." Shai looked at me for a second, then to lowly say  "Okay..."  then digging into her food.

"So what are we going to do?" I said looking over to her.She rolled her eyes. "I really don't know Trey, but that should be the least of your worries." I nodded. As Shai got up to throw the trash away I rubbed my head and put my head in my hands. I really messed up my chances with Jordin. The only girl I ever felt strong ass feelings for.

I dropped her loving and abused it, I ain't mean for it to go down like that. I might've done something wrong,  but that don't mean I meant to do it. I truly love Jordin, I just don't know why I gave in to Shai. I waited for Shai to get dressed so we could leave, and once she was ready we headed out. We drove in comlete silence keeping our distance and leaving me in thought. I don't know if I should be happy or sad. I still have a little anxiety.

Once we reached the clinic for Shai's appointment, I checked her in and sat in the waiting area with her. Shai looked over to me and frowned. "Trey.. do you... do you want this?" She asked looking at me in my eyes. "I don't know Shai, I mean i'ma have to be down with it." I said smiling at her slightly and rubbing her hand. "I'm sorry Trey, I know you had a girl.. and I didn't mean for any of that to happen.. it just did.." I looked at her feeling the same way. I kissed her hand and nodded.

The doctor came out "Wilkins?" I stood up and so did Shai. "Hello Ms.Wilkins." The doctor shook Shai's hand and led us into the room. Once we were settled, I sat down at the chair beside the bed and looked at the doctor. "So, Hello, My name is Doctor Jasmine." Shai nodded and I smiled. "Hey Doctor Jasmine." I said playfully, she chuckled. "And Hello to you, may I ask for your name?" I looked at her surprised because she didn't know who I was. "Trey..." I said smiling. "Oh, so it is you huh?" I smiled and nodded. "My daughter would go wild if she saw you." The doc said snickering.

"So, Ms.Shai, what are you here for?" Shai cleared her throat. "I think I'm pregnant, but... I'm not sure.." I gulped and tried to breath steadily. "Ah, I see. So would you like to take a pregnancy test or have you done that step already?" "I've done it already." The doctor stood up, "Alright well let's take a look downtown." 

After the doctor took a long time, making it weird.. she stood up with a straight face and sat down grabbing the clipboard and writing. "So..?" Shai said. The doctor looked up and smiled. "Congratulations, you are definitely pregnant." Shai smiled and I did too. "So how far do you think I am?" Shai said rubbing her lower belly. "Well, from what I could see.. you appear to be almost 4 weeks." I felt my heart racing. I sat there in silence.

"Is that all you needed for today?" The doctor asked. "Yes ma'am that's all." The doctor smiled. "Alright well, I have already prescribed the prenatal vitamins, make sure you take them every day unless told otherwise." Shai smiled, "Alrighty." I'm kind've happy, because it's my first knucklehead, I would never hate my child because of their mother. That's my seed.

I began to think heavily, more about Jordin than the baby.. how am I going to tell her this and try to get her back at the same time? honestly, I don't think she would ever forgive me. what have I got myself into, I done fucked up big time. I mean, sure I'm happy my first child is coming soon, but damn man I wanted Jordin to carry my child.. After all the hard work I still failed. As I drove her back home there was an awkward silence. "So what gender you think it will be?" Shai said breaking the silence. "I don't know... honestly I don't really care. As long as he or she is healthy then i'm good." I kept my eyes on the road, not even wanting to stare at my baby mother.
