[POV Of Headmaster's Room]

*You were sitting in a chair next to the window while the kids sat on the floor*

*You looked at the children who were looking up at you with big beady eyes*

Y/N: Did you like the story?

Calvin (Kid 1): What happened next?

Y/N: Well, that's about it. The rest is history.

*You looked out the Headmaster's window and into the courtyard. You saw it a lot, but it was calming to see so many people walking around. For years, things finally felt normal again*

Brooke (Kid 2): Wow, you guys are amazing. I can't believe you did all that!

*In the courtyard: Aasim and Ruby were sitting down and talking while Aasim wrote in his journal. Louis and Willy were on lookout duty. Calvin and Brooke's mom and dad were talking to Violet. Omar, Dante, and Kyri were all cooking something together*

*You looked down at Brooke*

Y/N: We couldn't have made it without Shawn and Marlon.

*Calvin kind of tilted his head in confusion*

Calvin: I thought Marlon was a bad guy?

Y/N: He made us stronger. Plus, he wasn't always a bad guy. He just made bad decisions. Minnie too. She wasn't always bad. I just wish they could've still been here today.

Calvin: Oh.

Y/N: Yep.

*There was silence for a second*

Calvin: I miss Shawn.

Brooke: Me too.

*When Shawn passed, you became the school's de facto leader*

*You thought about everything he did for you guys. It had been 2 years since he passed, but every day it felt like he was still there. That's just the type of effect he had on the school*

Y/N: Me too. We all do. He left us in a good place, though. He was the leader that we all aspired to be like.

Brooke: He used to draw with me a lot-

Calvin: And he would play hide and seek with us!

Y/N: He loved kids. No... he loved people in general. When we found Clementine and AJ, Shawn didn't even think twice about letting them stay. Same with you all.

*The door opened and someone came in. It was Clementine, and AJ followed behind her. She had a make-shift wooden leg that AJ promised he'd make for her. She still carried around the crutches just in case it became difficult to walk. AJ had Clementine's hat tied to his pants everywhere he went. His hair was too big to put it on, but he didn't want to leave it*

Y/N: There they are!

Clementine: What's up?

Brooke: Y/N just finished telling us the story!

Clementine: Did you enjoy it?

Calvin: I loved it.

Brooke: Me too.

Calvin: My favorite part was when you guys went on the boat to get your friends back!

Brooke: I liked when you went up the bell tower to look at the stars! Can we go up there too?
