The feeling of DreamStalker move beneath her as they glided over the winds was relaxing. His large wings crested the air currents as he glided through the air. Caerthynna had been requested by the elven king only hours prior of her flight. She was given no reasonings but to speak with him.
"DreamStalker. Down there. "
Caerthynna pointed to a large round stone landing the lay beside the palace of the elven king. It's designs consisted of an interpretation of the night skies with stars. The black stones made up a good portion of the land in area had white luminescent stones burst in outwards as stars creating many glares from the sunlight.
Tilting his wings inwards DreamStalker began descending to the ground below. He circled around a few times before slowly creating many gusts of wind as he landed.
Several guards where waiting for the dragon and females arrival as they ran forwards to greet her. But that meant nothing as she realized in the midst of the guards was Thranduil himself.
White and silver robes hung from his body as he stepped forwards to greet his guest. Caerthynna had known Thranduil a great deal of time now and had grown a the feeling of connection to him. She wished for his safety and protectiong just as much as her own and possible more.
The two met when he was in search of someone who could craft a special crown for dances or celebrations. She showed him one crafted of animal tusks and the horns of a narwhal. It was something simple but created the beginning of a great friendship.
"Dearest Caerthynna. You look stunning as usual. "
Thranduil cooed to her as DreamStalker bent down and met the kings hand with his snout. Giving the dragon a loving scratch on his nose Thranduil stood before his friend.
"I thought you forgot about me Thranduil. I haven't seen you in ages."
As the female with dread locks looked over her dear friend she realized he had become much paler than she last saw him. Bags had formed beneath his eyes with purple and pinkish tints to them. His lips had a purple tint much like he lacked oxygen.
"I never forgot about you. You much too annoying to forget. "
Caerthynna laughed loudly and patted her dragons side. The king held his arm out kindly to her as she stepped forwards. Taking his silk covered arm she smiled and let him lead her throughout the castle to a large door.
It's wooden exterior was delicate and looked much like dark chocolate was the main material. Thranduil opened the door for her and gestured his friend in kindly. Stepping in Caerthynna noticed the room was his bed room.
His bed coverings looked much like the door that entered the room. The silk looked of melted dark chocolate hanging off the edge of the large king sized bed. His pillows looked fluffy and comfortable. Much more welcoming than the pile of animal furs she layed on at night in her cave. Luckily DreamStalker helped keep her warm and comfortable on the much colder nights.
"Why have you brought me to your room. Last time I checked you take a. lady for a meal before your bed. "
Caerthynna looked to the king and quickly stopped teasing. His body looked hunched over and in pain as he clutched his side. She was quick to be by his side and begun to remove his top robe. Thranduil flinched back and allowed her to proceed. As his skin was revealed the small female gasped.
A large black hole looking depression lay in his side as he wheezed. Black tenderils moved outwards closer to his chest and heart. Caerthynna moved him to the bed and set him down quickly before taking a closer look.
"A witch. She hit me with a strange object and this formed. I assumed it to be poison but not anti poison worked to help my condition. I called you because I knew you could help. "
Looking at the male before her Caerthynna thought closely as he fought for breath. Checking over his condition once more she huffed then sighed, placing her hands on her hips.
"Give me half an hour. I'll have something to heal you by then. "
Taking her hand Thandruil kissed it lightly and looked to her with his dead eyes.
"My palace is yours. Do what you must. "
