Amelia POV
Standing in front of the mirror for an hour now.Can decide what to wear.So I decided to wear my blue jeans and white tees and my black Vans sneakers.
When you are one of the prettiest girls in your school and no one notice you, it's a slap in the face.
"Amelia the bus are gonna be here any minute now",my mom call from the kitchen.
"Ok mamma.", I call back.
To really tell you guys I'm not in the mood for school.The cheerleaders look down on you,the jocks make jokes about you and the teachers always yells at you for nothing.When I'm done I grab my backpack and go to the kitchen and take my lunch and climb on the bus.When I look for a seat there's only one left next to my high school crush Jamie Scott,so I take the seat next to him.When you think about the captain of the hockey and football team you expect him to have a fancy car and girls hanging around him well the second part is true but here he is riding the bus to school just like everyone else.
"Hey.",he says when I sit next to him.So I greet him back.
"Hi", I say back.
"Your name is Amelia right, your in my class?", well totally unexpected he knows my name and he notices that I'm in his class.It sounds to good to be true.
"Yeah, it's just weird your popular and you notice me.Don't you have like a lot of girls that catch your eye.",I ask.
"How can't anyone not notice you, you are totally beautiful and smart.You know that right?",he ask.
"Sometimes it doesn't feel like it,when the cheerleaders and other popular girls are always teasing and making fun of you.",I say without thinking.Just then the bus stop at the school gate.We wait till everyone is off then he stands up and turn around.
"Don't let anyone tell you, you're not beautiful.You are you and don't change that for anyone.See you in class Amelia.",he says before walking of.
Well that was totally unexpected. I feel like I'm dreaming and don't want to wake up.Well now I can't wait to get to class.With that thought I get off the bus.
