Part 10

The back of Y/n's head was clearly bleeding, Alfred wraps some bandages around her head as she watches him intently. "I'm so sorry that I fell like that I guess I just lost control of myself." She folds her hands silently in her lap as she watches Alfred get back up. "Am I okay enough to help with dinner?" Alfred looks shocked by nods with a small smile. "Yes, of course."

Alfred starts preparing dinner as Y/n helps silently before Alfred turns to her. "So, you haven't been here long but have the children bothered you?" Y/n turns toward Alfred with a confused look but inside I was screaming.. OH HEAVENS YES! THEY'VE ANNOYED ME BY EXISTING but the stupid creature now in charge of my brain couldn't hear me and responded like a pacifist. "No, no.. I've always wanted to have children. I'm not sure it would be good with my line of work though."

*Y/n's pov*
Alfred nods in agreement as we take the food out to the table, soon a tired Bruce and kids walk in, I smile at Bruce before noticing how awfully tired he looks. "Are you alright, Bruce?" He nods and goes to sit down, I move to the end of the table with my food in attempt to avoid causing awkwardness once more but to my surprise Damian sits beside me. "Alfred said you hit your head today. Are you okay?" Inside I felt like screaming or banging my hands against the wall. I am definitely not okay in here but once again the creature spoke for me. "Oh yes, I just thought of something horrible.. it was like having a nightmare but I was awake." I laugh it off and start asking Damian about school.

After awhile the other boys moved down and started talking to me but the questions were kinda weird like asking me if I liked my boss Mr.Nygma. "Oh, Edward? I guess I don't really know.. if so much time has truly passed then he's probably changed a lot." I hear banging on the door and get up with a confused look Batman comes in holding a man dressed in green. "Oh, hello again, Batman!" The man dressed in green looks at me with wide eyes and tries to reach towards me. "Y/n?" I give him a confused look and back away slightly. "I'm sorry, Do I know you?" His eyes fill with hurt as he turns to the Bat asking to be sat down, the bat agrees but keeps his eyes on the man. "Y/n, it's me! Edward."

I give Edward a confused look before I suddenly realize. "Oh, my boss?" He sighs and turns toward me really fast. "I came here because Scarecrow gave me this, it should reverse your predicament." Inside I was cheering for my hero but to my surprise this creature backed away from my Eddy. "I don't understand, I don't have anything wrong with me.." Edward sighs and looks toward Batman before punching him in the face and grabbing Y/n throwing her over his shoulder. "I will make you normal again. Don't worry!"
