Chapter 20 Updated version

After listening Mukti uttering those words it was like that Manik forgot to breathe. There was a glass of water in Manik's hand which broke into pieces. To think his sister whom he had always considered like his daughter had a hand in making him miserable. A sister whose each and every demand he always fulfilled.

Seeing that there are some blood drops on her brother's hand Mukti panicked.

Mu: BHAI!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!
Your hand is bleeding!!!!!!!

Even Cabir was shocked seeing Manik this silent. It was scary to think of the storm which was brewing inside of Manik.

All members present at the dinner table were shocked seeing Manik's bleeding hand.

M: What about my bleeding heart Mukti..????

You know I just called Abhimanyu a backstabber!!!
But that designation doesn't belong to him. Did you ever thought about my happiness!!!! EVER????? Even thought what makes me happy???

Then he picked Cabir's glass who was sitting next to him and threw it closer towards Mukti.

The glass touched the floor near Mukti and broke into million pieces.

M: Now make that glass whole again Mukti!!!

Mu: Bhai that's not even possible. That glass broke into million pieces, its impossible to make it whole again.

M: That's my point Mukti. I always said that you are my bachha and this is what you did to my love and trust Mukti.

In all this fight between Manik and Mukti both their parents were silent. Both Neyo and Raj knew how much Manik had always loved Mukti. How much his heart is breaking right now after listening to just few words from his beloved sister. Those few words that Mukti had only saw Abhimanyu and Nandani together but nothing else. No compromising position had shaken Manik's whole world. How could it not. It was his sister whom he had an unbreakable trust had just told him that it was all a lie.

Sh: Why did you even did it to your own brother????

It was Shivaay's question which broke the silence of all the members who were present there.

M: Yes!! Mukti tell me! Why did you even did all this??? And that too to your own brother!!!!

Abhi: We all are forgetting something. It wasn't only Mukti who lied. Aliya was there too.

Na: Yes!! Abhi you are right Aliya was there too and as I remember it was you Aliya who was actually shouting that Nandani was characterless.....

Om: Characterless and that too my sister! Impossible...........

Abhi: As I remember Aliya you loved Manik as far as I remembered. Then where did Dhruv came from.

Na: he came because she realized that even after knowing that Nandani is wrong Manik still was not able to move forward with anyone else. Right Aliya???

A: That's not true I truly love you Dhruv. I really love you........

M: That means what you felt for me was not love. But you still destroyed my life Aliya. And after that you thought of your own happiness.

Na: You are right Manik they both are heartless. You think they just misunderstood Abhi and Nandani breing together and they were just confused. But that's not true. Not at all true. Day before yesterday I heard the conversation between Aliya and Mukti. They were talking about how they purposely lied about seeing Abhimanyu and Nandani together. They knew what they saw was not the truth but they both wanted to make Nandani leave. They knew if you didn't believe Nandani that day then her self respect will be enough to make her leave you.

It wasn't because Nandani was better than both of them, which is true she is better than both of them but it was because she had became your first priority. You were always thinking about her first then Mukti and lastly Aliya which was not acceptable to both of them. Before Nandani came into your life it was always Mukti first and second Aliya, but after Nandani's arrival it all changed. This was the part they didn't liked at all.

M (shouted): What Navya is saying is true!!! Is it not!!!
I always thought you both didn't like Nandani in the start is because of the way we all first met. But that not at all true. It was because I was happy even when I was not with either of you.

HOW CAN YOU BE THIS MUCH SELFISH???????

Manik looked at Mukti with a rage unknown to him ever before.
