Manik looks towards Abhi and sigh!
Then he suddenly becomes alert and faces Mukti again.

M: It had to be him right????
It had to be him otherwise I wouldn't have believed you. You had to blame Abhi because if you had mentioned anyone else I wouldn't have even listened to you.

Manik looks at Abhi and simply say.

M: I'm soo sorry Abhi!!!!
You know you deserve better than that heartless b*t*h.
Congratulations on your engagement because I'm really very happy for you. You found someone much better than Mukti. Kritika is much better choice and she will always be there for you unlike Mukti who you blamed you for a crime that you didn't even committed.

Everyone was still shocked about all the revelations which came out in the open today.
Yes! Everyone had known Aliya and Mukti to be heartless but or them to be this selfish was even out of their collective minds. To think that a sister can be this selfish just because she didn't liked the person whom her brother was with was mind-blowing.

Manik was silent now because he didn't even know how to think and how to proceed because now he had realised what just what he lost by believing his sister. He was remembering Nandani's face and her heartfelt pleas for him to trust her. To believe her that she was innocent and that it was his sister and his friend who were lieing. And remembering himself as he had remained silent. And her innocent face when she actually realised that Manik was actually believing and trusting his sister and didn't have any faith in her. That he didn't have any faith in her love for him that she will remain faithful to him. And to realise that must have broken her lovely and innocent heart.

M: I now realise why I'm in this wheelchair. This is one of my punishment for not believing her when she needed me to. She was just eighteen when all this happened, she was no more than a child herself and to think she was with a child at that time. She needed my support and what did I do??? I
I believed this b*t*hes here and left her to fend for herself.

Manik's looks at Abhimanyu and asks him the question that was constantly in his mind. How is Nandani in New York and not in India??? Not in Mumbai with her family.????????

M: How is this that Nandani is in New York????
Why is she not with her family in India??

Abhi: Its all because of you!!!!

M: What happened????

Abhi: YES!!! When I came back to New York to my family, I brought her with me because she needed someone to be there for her and truthfully so did I. You know I didn't think I will be needing anyone when I'll tell Mukti about my treatment, I thought she will be there for me but when I went to meet Nandani and found her on the road when she collapsed it was a shock. And after regaining consciousness Nandani told me what all Mukti had told all of you. And at that time I saw Mukti Malhotra's real face, and I didn't liked it at all. Intact I hated myself for loving her. She was not at all the person I thought her to be.

M: Treatment???

Abhi: I had Cancer Manik!!!
That was the reason she was with me all the time. She even went with me to all my appointments when I was in India. And when I thought about telling Mukti you know all what happened then. And later I didn't even want her to know anything about me and my health.

M: Now you are fine right????

Abhi: Yes now I am all right.!!! I have been in remission for past five years.

M: Thank God!!

M (thoughtfully): I remember seeing two kids when I was in hospital who were my mirror image when I was a kid. They are my children. Aren't they?????
