Chapter 22

[ To all my reader friends. I'm really very sorry for not updating for past two months.
There were some personal problems first then later on we lost our beloved four legged family member and due to that I was not in right mood to write the story. Really sorry again. Do enjoy this small update. I will update next chapter very soon].

Seeing Nandani here in Oberoi Mansion was a shock to Manik but then he remembered Shivaay introducing Nandani as  his sister in hospital but he was confused by it.

Then he remembered exactly all he had heard just now. To think if Nandani had given in to Make pressure for abortion then his children would not have been alive today.

M: Nandani please tell me they are my children??? Please !!!!!

N: As I said just now they are my children. You don't have any rights to my kids always remember that.

M: They are your kids Nandani that means I'm there there father!!!! Right????

N: FATHER!!!!! YOU THEIR FATHER !!!! WHAT A JOKE!!!!
Do you even know the the meaning of that word?

Manik fell silent because he do remember what he had said to Nandani when she had told him..  Now he was realising what a mistake he had made that day by believing Multi over Nandani.

There was a silence in the room when Shivanik, Abhay & Avni arrived in the room.

Ab: Mom can Shiva come home with us today???

Nandani immediately forgot everything and turned towards her children and replied Abhay's question.

N: why???? What prank are how all planning this time???

Av: haaaawwww..... Mom how can you doubt us like that????
Shiva Bhai is our big brother so it's natural that we would want him to come with us sometime...

N: My darling daughter I asked for the reason now the lecture. lets not forget who is the mother here.!!!

It was the childish debate between Nandani and Avni that everyone was watching with a smile on their faces. Only two people were there who were not laughing or smiling at Nandani's and Agni's childish antics.

N: Ok Shiva can come just ask you uncle and aunty about it first!!!

Ab/av: Mammu??? [ uncle]
Mammiiii???? [ Uncle's wife]

Sh/Ani: Ok! Ok!!! Go!!!
But don't play too many pranks and irritate your aunt!!

Shk: Like I would do that to my favourite aunt??

Few minutes later nobody a word as Nandani left with the children after saying goodbye to her brothers and sister in law's. She also bid goodbye to Cabir, Raj and Neyo.

It was after some time Nandani's departure that Shivaay spoke to Manik.

Sh: You have been a good friend to me Manik that's why I invited you to my home but to listen what you and devil sister of your's had done to my sister I don't know I even want to continue my friendship with you.

M: I know Shivaay what I have done in the past is unforgettable and I won't even ask for forgiveness because I know I won't be able to forgive myself for what I have done. To know all what Nandani had to bear because I didn't had trust in her is unforgivable.

But I will do anything to earn her forgiveness for my son's and to able to connect with my children.

Sh: look Manik I don't know what Nandani will do now???
Will she even let you talk to the children or not will be her decision and all four of her brothers will always be on her side always..

If she even think that she doesn't want her children to meet any of you, you all will have to respect her wishes.

There was nothing any of the Malhotras or even Cabir or Dhruv can say or do anything that will change Shivaay's mind about Nandani or her decision regarding her children.

Everyone went back to their rooms after finishing their dinner because there was nothing left to say or done because what had been said and done had been unthinkable and the person's who had lost most in all this had been children.
