All along he thought that the dirty cops working for Claris were the ones in the fleet passing, but Claris had left some of them to look deeper in the area. Haman had just walked right into the arms of one of her men unknowingly.

His adrenaline kicked in and he just swung his arm and kicked the guy who grabbed him using his elbow. The guy loosened his arm due to the punch just above his stomach, giving Haman a better chance to free himself.

Haman grabbed his huge arm, bit it hard, then he ran off towards the road screaming. Luckily enough, the fourth car had not gone far; the detectives inside the car heard him scream and they stopped the car.

In his mind, Haman thought that the guys in the cars were together with the guy who had grabbed him; when he saw the car stop, he just took a turn and began running towards the boarder.

The CID cops in the fourth car identified Haman and they radio channeled the information to the other three cars in front; George was in the third car. The driver of the fourth car then took a U-Turn and began driving towards the direction which Haman was running.

When the dirty cop saw that the CID Agents had seen Haman, he disappeared into the bushes with his arm bleeding. He couldn't shoot Haman because the gunshot would draw attention to him and he couldn't risk that.

Haman was afraid of going into the bushes because he had no idea how many more of Claris' men were in those bushes. When he saw that the car was drawing too close to him, he pulled out the gun he had snatched from Jack and began firing at the car.

The car was bullet proof but one of the bullets launched into the tyre on the driver's side, making it lose control and hit the nearby ditch.

Haman then went on running but George's car was already nearby. George pulled over then called his name, and that was when he realized that it was the CID chasing after him and not the dirty cops.

He stopped running, then he slowly turned and faced towards George; he was still in shock and was still holding the gun in his arm.

"It's me, put down your gun." George said as he took cautious steps towards him.

Ham just dropped the gun then he rushed towards George, hugged him then said;

"I am sorry about the car, I thought it was them."

"Them who? Who are they?" George asked.

Haman did not know where to begin, hence he hesitated a bit. One of George's men took the gun which Haman had dropped, then after observing it keenly, he said;

"Sir, you might wanna see this."

"See what?" George asked as he turned towards the detective.

"It is a police gun." The detective said as he gave George the gun.

"Shit! We got played!" George then exclaimed after he saw the serial number on the gun.

"What do you mean sir?" The detective asked curiously.

"Call Detective Ruth and Nick; their lives are in danger." George replied as he rushed towards the car in the ditch.

"How bad is it?" He then asked the driver of the car.

"Only the folded metallic part but the engine is untouched. We can change the tyre then get rolling." He replied as he walked to the rear of the car to get the spare wheel.

"Why would Nick and Ruth be in Danger?" Haman asked as he walked towards George.

"Whoever kidnapped you is connected to Clara and Ben; they kidnapped you just to get us out of the headquarters so that they can rescue Clara and Ben." George replied.

"Her twin sister was the one behind it all; she is the master mind. These men who kidnapped me are policemen and they work for her; I heard them call her Claris." Haman said trying to sound calm.

"If she has a sister in the police force then Nick and Ruth will need back up. They are all alone at the HQ with these cops; who knows, maybe the whole department is corrupt!" George replied then he asked for Nick to be called again.

Neither Nick, nor Ruth was picking up their calls; George suspected that something was wrong. It would take them about three hours to drive back to the police headquarters; by the time they got there it would be too late.

George called the CID headquarters and asked for any available agents to be sent to the Police Headquarters and transfer the three prisoners to the CID cells in the CID HQ.

He then turned to Haman and asked;

"How many were they?"

"I was kidnapped by two and Claris was with another one when we got  to the warehouse." Haman replied.

"So they were four?" George asked.

"No, they are an army only that most of them were not staying with their boss at the warehouse. Just before you guys found me, I had been ambushed by one of her men; they are allover." Haman replied.

"What of the car they used to kidnap you? We had it being tracked in our systems, but it just disappeared and we have searched that area around the warehouse; we can't find it. Do you by any chance know where it is?" George asked.

"I stole it. I was using it to escape before I heard your fleet approaching and I thought that it was Claris' men. I ditched it in the woods and decided to walk." Ham replied.

Back at the HQ, Nick and Ruth had decided to continue with the interrogations. They both had left their phones at the desk assigned to the CID agents since they could never suspect that it was more than just a single murder case; they had no idea that it was a police conspiracy, and they were willing to kill anyone who came their way.

After Claris received the message that Haman had been found by the CID, she ordered her men working under Clara's department to strike and get her sister and brother out of custody.

There were two dirty cops working for Clara; they were Claris' plan B. Officers John and James had to first cause a false alarm so that all the cops in the building could evacuate, and leave the prisoners unattended.

They triggered the fire alarm, then they began evacuating everyone from the building. Nick and Ruth walked out of the interrogation room to check what was going on and John asked them to leave the building.

"What of the suspects?" Nick asked.

"We will evacuate them, just leave the building." John replied as he pretended to be concerned.

Nick and Ruth believed him and they walked out; but after he had gotten outside, he recalled that they had left their phones and they needed them; he went back for them.

He had just walked into the lobby when he saw John, James, Clara and Ben walking towards a different direction; the two culprits were not handcuffed.

"Stop right there!" Nick said as he pulled out his gun....
