He checked his fuel and he had a tough call to make; more acceleration would mean more combustion and that would render him with no fuel in just a few more kilometres.

After having the morning glory with Donald, Claris went for patrol and that was when she found the guy lying dead at the gate and Jack's body inside the cell. She sent all of her men to hunt for Haman and bring him back to her dead or alive.

Since they were cops, they had access to police cars which were well equipped for a chase; Haman did not stand a chance when it came to racing. Since he was not aware that George and his team had already found where the car was, Haman just concluded that the cars following him were Claris' men.

Less than a kilometre ahead, the road passed through the woods and Haman took that as his chance to hide. He drove off the highway into the bushes where there was no road, then he quickly got out of the car and hid beneath it.

Lucky for him, the bushes around where he had branched were thick and when he forced the SUV past the bushes, they just paved way for the car, and then came back together as if nothing had passed through.

There was no time for Haman to escape on foot; he just got out of the car a and lay beneath it; praying that the guys behind him would pass without seeing the tyre marks on the grass leading towards the bushes where he had hidden the car.

Luckily, the fleet drove past the bushes and Haman could hear the cars disappear. He slowly began to roll out from beneath the car and as he was about to get to the edge, his arm landed on something soft and warm.

He did not want to look at what he had just touched; he gently took off the arm from the ground and rolled over back to where he was. After he was back to position, that was when he turned and looked at what he had touched.

His whole body began trembling and sweating when he saw a huge python facing towards him. The snake was motionless but it had raised its head facing towards him.

Haman had a huge phobia for snakes; he just screamed loudly then rolled towards the other side and once he was out, he got on his feet and sprang like a shooting rocket.

He had not seen a tree which was just a few steps from the car; he went crashing into the tree with his head and blacked out. He had no idea for how long he was unconscious, but when he woke up, the huge snake was gone.

He slowly got up from where he had fallen after hitting the tree, then he walked to the car and got in. After he had crashed the car into the bushes, it switched itself off and he did not bother to check if it was still working.

He got to the driver's seat, fastened his safety belt, then he tried turning the ignition key. The car was just making an attempt to ignite, but it could not pick because the battery had crashed when he crashed it into the woods.

His forehead was swollen and he was having a severe headache due to the hit by the tree; he could not manage to walk for a long distance. Haman just lay back on the seat as tears ran from his right eye; it was too much for him to take.

After about an hour, he got out of the car and slowly began walking out of the bushes towards the highway. He had no idea where he was and neither did he know for how long he needed to keep walking for him to find help.

Nonetheless, he knew that he could not get help  by just sitting in the car until evening; he hit the road headed towards the same direction he was driving to.

On the other side, George and his team got to the location where they had located the black Land Cruiser, but they found it gone. They thought that the kidnappers had taken the car, and since they did not meet with it on their way there, they decided to search around the area and see if they could find it.

George left some of his men searching the area, then he took a few others with four cars and they drove towards the north.

When Claris found out that Haman had escaped, she did not want to take any chances; she burnt down the warehouse, then she shifted to another secret place where she was waiting for her boys to bring Haman whether dead or arrive.

Lucky for Haman, he had taken a wrong turn. Instead of heading south, he went ahead and headed north thinking that it was the route leading him to the town.

The route he took was leading towards the boarder, and the fleet of cars he was hiding from was not Claris', it was George's. He had no idea that he was headed towards the boarder, so he just kept walking hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

George and the agents in the fleet of four cars got to the boarder and after asking the guards at the boarder if they had seen Haman, they were told that no person of the description they gave had crossed the border.

The other unit left behind found the burnt warehouse and called it in, hence George had to turn his fleet back and go check out the warehouse.

Haman had not taken any water since the previous night; he was getting thirsty and worn out. He had no time to grab some when escaping, he just grabbed the gun from Jack and ran. He still had the gun with him, but it had only four rounds left; he could only use it when he had no any other option left.

He got to a point and he could not keep going; he just sat by the roadside hoping that a good Samaritan would pass by and help him.

After sitting there for about ten minutes, he heard the engine sound of the police cars approaching; it was the exact engine sound he heard when he crashed the car into the bushes.

He quickly got up from where he was seated, then he ran to a nearby bush and hid behind it. The bush was not far away from the highway, hence he could see the cars approach.

The third car had just passed by the bushes where he was hiding, when all of a sudden he was grabbed from behind and his mouth covered.....
