I woke up in the arms of a man that I knew was not mine. But there he was. The man that stuck up for me, protected me, then when I was drunk out of my mind, he took care of me. How was I supposed to not have feelings for him. This bad boy rapper that was known for being a player had been so sweet to me. I look at his nearly naked body next to me. I hadn't realized that he was waking up as I stroked his blonde hair. I glanced at the clock and groaned softly. I tried to wiggle out of his arms without waking him. But of course I failed. He smiled sleepily at me, " Good morning beautiful." " I'm sorry I woke you up. I have to get ready for work." That woke him a little. " Shit, I have a meeting today." He sat up and hugged me. " How do you feel? " I smiled at him, " I feel alright. I was well taken care of last night." We both got up and I handed him his shirt. Not thinking that I would be standing in front of him in only my bra and panties. I blushed slightly and he averted his eyes, " I'm gonna go hop in the shower" He nodded and off I went. As I showered I thought about how perfect he was. How caring and kind he really was not the egotistical jerk people made him out to be. When I was done in the shower I pulled on a pair of ripped black jeans and my EST hoodie. I braided my hair in two boxer braids and put on some mascara and put my earrings in. I have doubles on both sides so it rounded out the look. I pulled on a pair of black combat boots and I was ready to go. In my line of work because I'm the best and working with celebs I have to be able to set them at ease and in Cleveland people dont really wear dresses and stilletos unless they're at a party. I walked into the living room to see Gunner and Kells snuggled up on the floor. " I gotta get going, Colson. You think we can hang out later?" He grinned and crossed the room to hug me. I inhaled the smell of cologne mixed with weed smoke and I loved it. " We can do this when ever you want, Hailie." He walked me to my car and with one last hug I was on my way to work. Todays going to be a great day. I got to work at noon and my boss walked over to me,"Hailie your one o clock should be here soon. " One o clock.....I didn't have a meeting today. Oh well I'll run with it. " ok I'll be ready." I was in the meeting room going over the file.

A knock on the door surprised me. I suddenly smelled that familiar mix of weed smoke and cologne but wrote it off as being on my clothes. Then I heard him. " I'm here for a meet" My boss guided him into the meeting room. "Mr. Kelly this is Hailie Harvey our best director and photographer. I'll leave you to get aquainted." He looked at me with a smile. "Hailie...." I hugged him. "I know it's only been hours but I missed you." He smiled down at me. " I missed you too babe"
We sat down and for four hours we talked about what narrative he wanted to sell through his photos and his videos. What he wanted to stand for. And what he was looking for long term when he said, " I want you to stay with me. I mean maybe not in a romantic way....yet but I need you. You balance me. Like when you were holding on to me and your ex was talking shit about you I was gonna kill him but you were holding on to me so much that I just wanted to protect you. To keep you from getting hurt." I stood up wrapping my arms around him. "I want to stay with you too." And he smiled.
