Big news

It was a normal Monday, I was home alone since I just came from school and my parents were at work.

I was writing my homework when all of a sudden I felt hungry. I went to the kitchen to grab my favorite snack and then went back to my room to finish my homework.

Once I had finished I decided to watch Netflix. I took the remote and looked at a bunch of movies and series until I found an inetersting title.

"Stranger Things..? Sounds cool" I said and pressed play. I watched the first episode and really enjoyed the show so I decided to watch another episode.  Afterwards I decided to go for a walk.

I put on my favorite jeans and t-shirt/ dress and went outside. It was very nice outside, it wasn't too hot. The summer vacation just started and me and my friend (your friends name) planed all the stuff we were going to do.

Once I got back home my mom was there.

"Hi sweetie!"
I said "Hi mom!" as I hugged her tight.
"How are you?"
"I'm great."
"That's good."

I went to my room and read a book/ played videogames. When my dad came back home I heard whispering from the kitchen.

"Should we tell her?" My mom said.
"Not yet."

I was very curious so I decided to listen to their conversation.

"She'll be broken when she finds out!"
"I know but it's for her own good."
"I know but the sooner we tell her it will be easier for her to handle it."
"Be patient."

I decided that I shouldn't listen to their conversation since I was going to find about it sooner or later.

I went to bed early since I was very bored and had nothing to do anyways.
I changed into my pajamas and jumped on my bed. I covered myself with a soft blanket and quickly fell asleep.

When I woke up I quickly got ready and went down to eat breakfast. My parents seemed very serious and looked at me dead in the eye.

"What's wrong?" I asked
"There's something me and your mother have to tell you."

In my head I am praying that they're not getting a divorce.

"Your dad got a better job so now we can afford a better house." My mom said
"That's awesome!" I yelled thinking of my new room.
"There is one issue tho."
"What is it?" I aksed.
"We will have to move." My dad said.

Hi I hope you like the story so far, I know this chapter is kinda boring but every story needs an introduction! The story will get more interesting in a few more chapters I promise. Thanks for reading! Xoxo
