Chapter 28

 
                         *Elle POV*

  I woke up and looked at my digital clock. It read '8:24 A.M' and i jumped up and rushed out of bed and stepped on a piece of glass. I screamed to the top of my lungs and Jay came running into the room and i heard the babies start crying.

"Whats wrong? What happened?" He said frantically

  I started crying harder and pointed to my bleeding foot as blood was dripping on the floor. He picked me up and took me to a room i never seen before and sat me on the little bed thingy.

  He walked out and Anna walked in with a first aid kit or a first aid suitcase? As long as it helps. After she finished treating the wound I got ready for school. I put on this cute puma outfit and went downstairs and ate the breakfast Anna fixed. After I finished eating I went to the living room and turned on the TV while waiting on Jay and Anna.

                   30 Minutes Later

  "You ready?" Jay asked while holding one of the twins. "Ya think?" I said standing up. "Attitude much?" Jay said snapping his fingers and moving his head like a snake. I laughed and Anna walked down the stairs. "What's funny?" She asked looking between me and Jay. "Jay" I said and walked off awkwardly.

  Anna looked at Jay and he just shrugged. I ran to the car and hopped inside. Anna put the twins in the car and I started playing 'Bitlife' on my phone. Jay got in and started up the car and drove me to school.

  After 20 minutes we made it to school. I got out of the car and waved goodbye. "Hey Elle! Come here for a sec" Jay said getting out the car. I ran back "Yeah?" I said.

  "Anna's picking you up after school. I need you two to walk everything out. Remember she's your sister and your best friend and you can always count on her and you know she loves you and I know you love her so why not just talk everything out okay?" He said. I nodded my head.

  "Alright squirt" He said and we did our secret handshake and I made my way into the building.

  My friend Adrien walked up to me "Hey Elle" he said as he gave me a hug. "Hey Adrien" I said hugging him back with a smile. Adrien is my best friend who I had before I left for Florida. We kept in touch and over time I eventually started to like him. There's only one problem, he got a girlfriend while I was gone, and to make matters worse she hates my guts. "Hey babe" She said hugging then kissing Adrien. "Danielle" She said giving me the stink eye.

  "Aujanay" I said rolling my eyes. "You look not ugly today" She said snickering. "BABE! Be nice" Adrien said. "Shes my best friend and there's no way I'll let anyone disrespect her, not even you" he said. "Apologize" She gave me a look "I'm sorry Danielle" she said then stomped off.

  "Sorry Elle" he said rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "It's okay" I said with an awkward laugh. The bell rung signaling it was time for class so I made my way to first period. I walked into class and sat in my seat. "Good morning Class" the teacher, Mr. Montgomery, said.

  "Good morning Mr.Montgomery." the class replied. "Okay class pull out your books and turn to page 85" I pulled out my book and saw the pages ripped or scribbled over. I heard laughing and turned around to see Aujanay and her little crew laughing. I sighed and raised my hand. "Yes Miss Danielle?" Mr.Montgomery said. "May I be excused?" I asked. "Of course" he said nodding his head.

  I got up and walked out the classroom. I'll just skip this class today. I walked to the girls bathroom and went in a stall. I put the lid down, sat down, pulled out my phone, and plugged in my earplugs. After 10 minutes I heard someone walk in.

  The stall doors were being kicked open one by one I was started to worry. "We know you're here you little slut" I heard the person say. I opened the stall was met with a punch to the face. "What the hell" I said holding my nose.

  "Stay the hell away from my boyfriend you little whore" Aujanay said with a scowl. "What the hell is wrong with you?" I yelled. "You! You're what's wrong!! You're always hanging around him and he always choosing you over me!" She yelled.

  "Have you ever thought that me and him are JUST FRIENDS?!! And have you ever thought that maybe the stuff you say could upset him too?!!" I yelled.

  "Just stay the hell away from him" She said about to walk off. "And what if I don't?" I said mentally preparing to fight. "What did you say you little bitch?" She turned around and walked in my face. "What. If. I. Don't." I said.

  She spit in my face and I reflexively punched her. I didn't stop there I kept going until her friends pulled me off her and they began ganging up on me. When they finished I was left on the ground unable to move.

  "Serves you right." She said and walked off with her posse. I crawled to my phone with the rest of my strength and called Anna. "Hello? Elle? Elle? Hello? She said into the phone. "Anna." I said in a voice low enough for her to hear me. "Elle what's wrong? Elle? I'm on my way" was the last thing I heard before everything went black.
