A Hare's Tale(Elliot x OC)

♠Seven♠

As Elliot and the others entered the ballroom, he felt compelled to look around automatically. His eyes searched for the familiar head of white hair. When he didn't spot it, he frowned to himself. Did she get herself killed? Automatically assuming the worst, he started to wilt in his spot. 

"Ah. Blood. We were wondering when you would show up,"Vivaldi spoke, walking up. She was accompanied with Peter and Mikaela. Ace was off greeting people as they entered, checking for weapons. Vivaldi's eyes slid to Elliot, a grin plastered on her face. She just knew he would be ecstatic to see Rina there. 

"Good Evening, Vivaldi,"Blood greeted, tipping his hat to her. Vivaldi hummed at him. Blood looked side to side. "Wherever is the new Outsider?" 

"Ah, Rina should be coming out soon,"Mikaela chimed in. Blood turned, smiling at her. She closed her eyes and offered him a little wave. "Vivaldi told her she could wait to enter here if she wanted to. She seemed a little nervous apparently."

"Nervous? What's Big Sis nervous about?"Dee asked. Dum hummed, nodding his head in agreement. Vivaldi moved, holding her hand up to her lips. 

"Ohoho~ That shouldn't concern you. She will enter when she enters,"Vivaldi spoke. She turned, smiling at Mikaela. "Come now, Mikaela. We have guests to greet." Mikaela nodded. She waved bye to the other role-holders and followed Vivaldi off through the ballroom. Elliot breathed a slight sigh of relief, standing upright once more. Rina's okay.... he thought. He suddenly paused, his brows pinching together. What's with me? Why should it matter to me? As he heard the music change, he heard someone talking excitedly. His ears twitched and he turned, his eyes widening. Coming out of a curtained area, with Nightmare Gottschalk following behind her, was Rina. She wore a beautiful black ball gown, which accentuated her beautiful white hair. There was little to no makeup on her face, her freckles sticking out almost predominately there. 

"Stop and stare~"

He couldn't take his eyes off her. They grew wider and wider by the second. He felt his heart pounding. His mouth went dry. God...he thought. Rina glanced over at him and he froze, feeling like an arrow was shot through his heart. He knew his cheeks were probably red. Rina smiled and walked over to them, Nightmare at her heels. She closed her eyes, tilting her head to the side.

"Hello, Blood. Elliot. Dee, Dum,"Rina greeted. Blood smiled down at her. She cleans up nicely at least. Still not very feminine at all, he thought.

"Wowwww! Big Sis, you look incredible!"Dum told her. Rina blinked. Big sis? She wondered. 

"Yeah, yeah!"Dee agreed. Rina tilted her head to the side. 

"Big sis?"She repeated as a question. Dee and Dum blinked, exchanging glances. 

"Well yeah!"Dum laughed. He quickly shifted in front of her eyes, suddenly small. Her eyes went wide. Dum switched back just as Dee shifted too. "We're able to do that!" 

"It's pretty cool right?"

"Uh...yeah..."Rina replied, blinking in surprise. She shrugged to herself and turned, her eyes slid over to Blood. 

"You do look incredibly beautiful,"Blood agreed. He moved, adjusting his hat. "I would love for a dance with you later if you wouldn't mind."

"Oh...um, sure,"Rina agreed. She offered him a calm smile. "I guess that's fine, you do dance at these things don't you?" Rina moved. "Though I may have to dance with you to a slow song, this dress is a little long." Rina giggled and closed her eyes. Elliot felt like his heart was going to leap out of his chest. Nightmare gave him a knowing grin and Elliot narrowed his eyes at the dream demon.
