"Wel... I can't my little sis down now can I?" Grace puts her arm around my neck like she did when we were little. 'Thank the lord she's staying.. now I just have to not let her leave.' I look up at her and smile. She smiles back looking down on me.
"What class are we in?" she says stopping after we get through the door. Then the bell rings.
"Apparently 2nd Period!" I say to her over everyone. She still has her arm around my neck. 'This used to be comfortable when I was a lot shorter than her... Now it just hurts my fucking back! I need to get her and Kid to talk, then she'll never leave!'
"You know you should talk to Kid!" I say stopping both of us in front of the Cresent Moon Class.
She looks down at me, "Ok, but only because this is the last day I'll be in Death City! Oh Gosh! We have to find you a new miester next period!"
"Grace, I don't want a new miester, you're my sister!" I stop and throw her arm off of me.
"Ok, let's relax and spend our time well," she smiles at me.
"Now let's go to Kid's row!" I say dragging her up the rows of seats to Kid slumped over sadly. I looks out the corner of his eye and sees Grace. He sits up happily, and smirks.
"Grace..."
"Hey Kid," she scoots over next to him, sits, and kisses him on the cheek.
"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to offend you or-" He's interrupted by Grace
"I know you didn't, I overreacted!" she hugs him, "I'm sorry." Kid stops for a second, then he wraps his arm around her and hugs her tightly. Then his face changes from happy to shocked.
"W-what?" Kid says to Grace slowly letting go.
"This is my last day in Death City, Kid," she tries to smile, but tears fall instead. I hug her from behind with my head on her shoulder. 'I don't want her to leave, she can get any weapon she likes! I have to find someone that matches my wavelength without her!' I start to cry. I feel her hand on my head, petting me.
She laughs, "Don't worry it won't be long for you." I lift my head up. She's turned her head to look at me. 'I love her voice, when I was little I got her to sing me to sleep.' Kid grabs her and hugs her. I watch him. I tear goes down his face.
"Don't leave!" I say wrapping my arms around her neck, and putting my head into her back.
She laughs in between crying, "I have to!" she puts and arm around Kid, and turns to put her other arm around me.
"W-Why do you have to?" Kid asks her looking her in the eyes.
"I've got to figure something out," she puts her hands underneath our chins and makes us look at her, "I promise, If I get my answer and figured 'it' out... I WILL come back!" she wraps her arms around our necks and hugs us tight.
"W-what's going on?" I hear Maka say. I turn away from our hug and look at her.
"This is Grace's last day here, for now," I say wiping tears from my eyes. 'Grace, I think Maka's gonna lock you in a prison until she talks you out of leaving now.' I see tears starting to form in Maka's eyes.
"W-what?" I see a boy... or girl... A PERSON with pink hair say hearing what I told Maka, "Sh-She can't leave! Sh-She's nice to me! She's not mean to me!" Maka hugs her.
"It's Ok, Crona. I'm sure Grace has a good explanation why she's leaving, and she wouldn't leave her sister alone here for something stupid!" she hugs 'Crona' I guess? 'Her reason better be good!' 'It' starts crying onto Maka's shoulder. I look behind me, and see Kid with his head in Grace's chest while Grace is rubbing his head. 'Man, I didn't know she meant so much to him!' I walk over to her and Kid.
