Chapter 7 - The talk

When Adrien heard that word he felt a warm feeling that he had never felt before.

- What? Me? He stutters.

- You know, I love Chat as well but I couldn't reply those feelings because I love you. I have since you gave me that umbrella. She blushes. Finally, she has finally told him the truth.

They both look at each other. They have loved each other for years but rejected each other because of it. Adrien starts to laugh and Marinette can't do anything else but smile. She loves his laugh and noe when she knows it, she recognize the laugh from Chat Noir. Maybe because Chat Noir laughs a lot more than Adrien does.

- Wow, we could really have saved years of misery and pain if we just have revealed our identities. Adrien says when he had finished laughing.

- I know, but we couldn't. I don't know what we should do now. She sighs.

Adrien take her in his arms and hugs her, Marinette look deep into his green eyes. Then she see it, she see Chat Noir and Adrien has the same eyes, only that Chat's eyes are green instead of white. Now she knows why she has had butterflies in her stomach when she has looked deep into Chat Noirs eyes before. Because she has had the same feeling when she has looked in Adriens eyes, on pictures of course, because she hasn't got the nerve to look deep into Adriens eyes before.

Adrien lean in to her ear and whisper.

- Now when I know, I will never let you go.

He closes his eyes and gets closer to Marinette's lips. Marinette is holding her breath, it's now or never she thinks and kisses him. It starts with a gentle kiss, a tasting kiss but it gets deeper and eventually they both feel like every year of suffering and rejections is fading away and the kiss gets more intense.

They stop and look at each other, both with red cheeks and swollen lips. Suddenly Marinette feel how tired she is and that her legs won't support her no more. Before she falls Adrien see what is about to happen and catches her and help her to stand up.

- Tired? he says.

- Mmm... Marinette can't speak. She has definitely not slept enough for weeks.

Adrien takes her in his arms and carries her to the ladder that lead up to her bed.

- I can't carry you up the ladder, I'm afraid.

They both climb up and lay down in Marinette's bed.

- Sleep tight M'lady. Adrien gives her a light kiss on her lips.

- Sleep tight Kitty. Marinette murmurs and falls direct into sleep.

Adrien stares at her and almost gets scared of his strong feelings. He thought that he loved Ladybug with all of his heart but it turns out that when he got to know that Ladybug is Marinette his love for her increased which he didn't thought was possible. With that feeling Adrien falls asleep easy, which he hadn't done since the day his mom passed away.

Marinette wakes up and at first she thinks that everything was just a dream. But then she feels a arm across her waist. She carefully turns around and there he is, Adrien. His hair is messy, just like Chat Noir's, and she looks at him for a while. Then she takes the courage to kiss him on his lips. He wakes up and looks a little confused at first before he looks at her and smile.

Suddenly he's on top of her and supporting himself on his elbows.

- Good morning Marinette he says as the same time he starts to put a trail of kisses on her jaw line.
