For the first time, Tony Stark-Rogers was quiet. He sat on the edge of his bed with his hands laying on his knees. His facial expression was blank while he stared at the wall in front of him. He hadn't spoken a word since they left the hospital. Peter was in a pretty normal state when Tony decided that was the best time for him to leave. His abrupt leave was excused as him needing to take his anxiety medicine, saying that he forgot to take it. Steve knew this was a lie, because he was the one who handed him the medicine, like he usually did because Tony "forgot". Whether or not that was true, was up for debate. Steve followed, not wanting to leave their son, but was scared of what kind of state Tony was now entering. Steve now leaned against the door wth his arms crossed, and worry written all over his face.

"Pops, I'm going with Bucky and Sam to see Peter" Harley said, passing his fathers' bedroom.

"That's fine, son" Steve turned his head to the side. "I wouldn't mention anything about all that's happened."

"What if he brings it up, though?"

"He might. If he does, just listen. It's the best thing to do for now."

Harley smiled faintly before making his way toward the elevator which had just opened, revealing Sam and Bucky.

"You ready, kid?" Bucky asked.

"I guess" Harley said non-enthusiastically, stepping into the elevator.

"How is he today, Steve?" Sam asked.

"He's..." Steve stepped toward the couple in the elevator. "He broke down. He told us a lot of what happened between him and Quentin. He was fine when we left, though."

"We? I thought Tony was still there."

Steve shook his head and stepped forward to whisper. "He's not taking this well."

"Gotcha" Bucky nodded. "We'll let you know if anything happens."

Harley looked sick with worry. Not only was his brother in the hospital, in the psychiatric ward, but his dad was in a state that he had only seen him in once, which was when his parents almost divorced because of The Civil War.

"Thanks." Steve nodded as the elevator doors closed.

Bucky patted Harley's shoulder. "It's gonna be okay, kid."

"I know."

Harley didn't actually know what was going to happen.

"I've just never seen Dad shut his mouth except once. It's scary when he's silent."

"Well what happened last time he was like this?" Sam turned to Bucky and Peter. He received deadpanned stares in return.

"I think I have a clue, Sam" Bucky admitted.

"Right" Sam nodded, realizing.

"We all know how that turned out" Harley sighed.

"I doubt that your parents will separate over this. This is just a lot to take in right now for everyone. I bet Tony is taking this worse than Steve because he probably think he failed as a father."

Peter looked up at Sam. "You may be right."

"Look at it this way. You saw how bad it was when they were fighting because of this of this fuck, right here" Sam pointed at Bucky. Bucky only sighed rolling his eyes. "They probably hated each other for awhile, but they got back together for your family. Now they love each other again" Sam shrugged.

"I guess."

"If there's one thing that I can say about your pops, and I think Bucky will agree with me is that there's nothing that he wouldn't do for you and your brother and sister."
