RavenÕs next meeting was with Sheryl Gilbert, but she decided to have lunch before it. She decided to kill two birds with one stone and went to Cooper Diner.

She sat at a barstool at the counter and, a woman in her 40s came out wearing a clean white apron over her dress and took her order.

While she was waiting for her food to arrive, she tried to make sense of what she has heard so far. A dead man, apparently, had woken up from his grave and has attacked a boy and wouldnÕt die unless shot in the head. There must be a logical explanation for all this. Her thoughts were interrupted, when the woman came back with the food.

ÔWe donÕt get a lot of visitors this time of the year.Õ She said.

ÔI am here for workÕ Raven said between mouthfuls. The woman nodded. ÔI am Catelyn, are you the reporter?Õ Raven sighed; it was truly a small town.

ÔYes, I am Raven McCoyÕ she told the waitress. ÔIt is the most exciting thing that has happened in this town, since the attempted bank robbery 10 years back!Õ Catelyn announced gleefully, she leaned across the counter and said in a low voice, ÔI heard it was Mr.Cooper who attacked the kidÕ.

Raven again bit back a sigh at the speed of the news travelling around in this town. She shrugged her shoulders non-committedly.

Catelyn looked disappointed, but continued, Ôpeople are scared, most of them are very superstitious and have already left the town. I donÕt believe in all this non sense, I am staying here only!Õ

ÔHey,do you know where Sheryl Gilbert lives?Õ Raven asked, interrupting Catelyn.

ÔSheryl?, well ofcourse I do, she lives right across the big church, just 5 miles north.Õ Catelyn replied, ÔAlthough, after the whole incident, she and her mother left for her grandmotherÕs place in Kansas.Õ

Raven bit back a disappointed sigh, this was going nowwhere!

ÔÉand to top it all off, the river js flooded! I was hoping to visit my aunt, next town, but now I can't!..Õ Catelyn continued, Raven was not paying attention to what she was saying, but this caught her attention.

ÔWhat do you mean?Õ Raven asked, dreading the answer.

ÔI mean that the river has flooded and there is no way we can get out of this town for atleast 2 weeks, some fault in the engineering of the dam, these dams, I tell you..Õ Raven tuned out after that.

She was stuck here for 2 weeks!..Already her instincts were on a high alert that something was wrong, or somwthing very wrong is about to happen.

Raven decided to visit the hospital where Jeremy Wilson was admitted.
