There was no problem in finding it, as it was the only hospital in town. The hospital was a modern building, in contrast to the rest of the town's architecture, Raven sat in the waiting area, assessing her surroundings, and the reception area was spacious and well lit.

'Miss. McCoy?' The receptionist called out. Raven got up and made her way to the desk, 'Dr.Renner will see you in his office, itÕs on the second floor, 3rd room.'

Raven found the office easily, and knocked.

'Come in' a terse voice replied. She went inside. Dr. Renner was sitting behind his desk, but got up to greet her.

'I hope I am not taking too much of your time, I just need to ask a few questions.' Raven said.

'What exactly happened to Jeremy?' she saw the doctor tense. 'Well, please what I am about to tell you should remain off the record,' after reassuring him that she won't disclose the details of their meeting, Dr. Renner sighed.

'When they brought in Jeremy Wilson, he was already in a self-induced coma. His hand, it was said, was bitten by an apparently dead man. The whole arm was bitten; it was nothing like I've ever seen before. It was as worse than an animal attack.' The doctor paused for a moment, and then continued 'We ran some tests on the bite marks on Jeremy's arm, and the saliva matched another sample we had, Dave Cooper's.'

Raven had expected to hear the name but was still shocked to hear it. The doctor continued, 'the boy's x rays showed nothing, until we ran an MRI. The brain has shut down, there is absolutely no activity in the brain, but the boy still lives, nothing makes sense..'

'Is it possible to see the boy?' Raven asked, not knowing how that would help, but it was a way forward.

The doctor sighed and asked her to follow him. They went up the elevators to the 5th floor and then down a long corridor.

'The boy's parents are not here right now, and the boy is still asleep.'

He opened the door and gave a shocked gasp, Raven followed him inside and looked around puzzled. The boy was not there.

Renner was frantically checking the bathroom and the balcony, but the boy was nowhere to be found.

He ran out to the nurse station, which was vacant and then made his way to the stairs, with Raven following closely.

'I checked on him just minutes before you came, his condition had not changed!

They took the elevator to the ground floor and Renner barked at the security to close the gates of the hospital and to scan the entire hospital.

The receptionist reported that Jeremy had not left the hospital and no one had entered after Raven.

Just at that moment the security head came running to them and between gasps of breath told them to follow him.

They followed him down to the basement, where there was the surveillance room. 'I was looking through the footage of the last hour to locate the missing boy and I found this.' The footage was a little grainy but when he hit the play button, Raven could clearly make out a small figure making its way out of the back entrance of the hospital. They boy was staggering and his arms hung lifelessly and when the guard switched to the entrance's camera and hit zoom, Raven gasped and grabbed Renner's hand, in horror. It was Jeremy.

The footage stopped there, 'Did you see where he went after that?' Renner asked desperately. 'The boy was picked by his parents. They were parking their car, when they saw him and they took him and drove off.'

Raven felt the ominous warning scream in her head again.
