The toddler gazed up in wide-eyed innocence.
Mel turned out her handbag.
'This is just a ruse, isn't it, to keep me from work.'
Leo climbed onto a stool and something clanked in the waste disposal.
'You didn't!'
Leo gurgled and went back to the television.
