A/N Hello Humans (And Demigods) This is my first chapter of this fanfic if you don't like the way I write it or anything I can use some tips, also this is after the Heroes of Olympus series but the Trials of Apollo never happened

Percy's POV

I was sitting on the dock with Annabeth, I was so glad the war was over,

everything had settled back to the normal routine, some Roman Demigods sometimes came here some Greek Demigods went to camp Jupiter

There had only been a few new Demigods

Me, I liked the peace but I was also becoming a bit bored.

I looked over at Annabeth her blonde hair glowed in the sunlight.

Tartarus had been a terrible experience for both of us, but together we were slowly getting over it.

I felt like our lives could become somewhat normal.

I heard a commotion by the volleyball pit.

I ran towards it and Annabeth followed while pulling out her knife.

I took out my pen though I didn't uncap it quite yet.

We approached the volleyball pit and saw an Apollo camper I think his name was Will he was staring in fear at his hand.

IT WAS TURNING TO DUST!

I looked around and other campers were slowly turning to dust.

Nico ran out of his cabin and sprinted to Will

I turned to Annabeth, as far as I could tell she wasn't becoming dust.

Suddenly I felt really sick.

"Annabeth?" I said weakly.

Then I looked at my hand.

I saw it turning to dust just like some of the other campers.

"Annabeth!" I said, still quiet but urgent

She was already staring at my hand.

She looked at me and I saw something in her eyes I've barely ever seen.

She didn't know what to do.

Annabeth's POV

Percy.

He looked at me with the most heart wrenching scared eyes.

I didn't know what to do.

I didn't know what was happening.

I didn't know how to stop it.

Slowly he disintegrated in front of my eyes.

I think my heart did too

I couldn't believe it.

He was just gone

Along with some of the campers

It seemed completely random

I know I should be focused on trying to stop this from happening but I had just lost Percy.

At least last time there was at least a flicker of hope to get him back.

But what could I do now.

I was a daughter of Athena who didn't know.

I looked at Nico who seemed shell shocked at he looked at the pile of dust that used to be Will Solace.

I knew Will and Nico had been dating but I didn't know how far their feelings went

I looked at other campers who had just lost friends or siblings.

I should try to help.

But I couldn't move.

Chiron galloped out if the big house and seemed he was about to say something when he too slowly turned to dust.

Everything was chaos.

Since Chiron was gone people turned to me to ask me questions but I ran.

I couldn't handle all this stress.

I ran, but I didn't run to my cabin.

I ran to Percy's cabin.

I knew I probably wasn't allowed to go into his cabin but I was too sad to care.

I closed the door and collapsed into the floor.

I had just lost Percy.

I had been 3 days since the dustings

I barely left cabin 3.

I don't think people wanted to tell me to leave.

The campers had done funerals for all the campers that had disappeared apparently Demigods from camp Jupiter had disappeared too.

Hazel, Frank, Reyna

Those were the ones I knew and the names went on and on.

Mortals had also dissapeared and NYC was chaotic.

Actually everywhere was chaotic.

I decided I needed to know what caused this.

I couldn't ask Chiron if I could leave so I just took it as a yes.

There were only the Vans and I didn't really want anyone to know where I was going.

That night I snuck into the Stables and found Blackjack.

He neighed when he saw me, I couldn't understand him like Percy could but from what he told me, Blackjack was probably asking for donuts.

I put my finger to my lips to try to tell him to stay quiet

"Hey Blackjack-" I whispered as I found a saddle. "-Can you give me a ride to the city"

He made a guesture with his head that looked like a nod so I took it as a yes.

I put the saddle on his back and let him out of the stall.

Later we were flying through the air.

It was a bit warm but still comfortable.

I looked down and saw the canoe lake below.

I knew I may never be able to look at water the same again.

Sadly I looked back ahead, just keep moving.

This is my first chapter I hope you enjoyed...well it was kind of sad so...
