Annabeth's POV

I flew on Blackjack's back for a while, I refused to sleep, recently the only thing I dream of is Percy's face right before he got 'dusted' as most Demigods are calling it.

Finally we arrived at the Empire State Building.

I burst into the lobby and went to the person to get a key card.

"300th floor" I said, straight to the point

"There's no su-" he started

"I SWEAR IF YOU DON'T LET ME UP THERE RIGHT NOW" I pulled out my drakon bone sword and held it in front of his face

He didn't even say anything, just gave me the key and muttered something about scary blondes

I almost smiled at that

Almost.

As I waited for the elevator to reach the 300th floor the music was annoying as ever.

The music, oh gods

It kept reminding me of him, as we escaped the depths of Tartarus

He stayed beside me, he fell in for me

I noticed I started crying

I wiped away the tears and tried to keep a stoney face

As I arrived I looked around Olympus, I had been the architect for it but I didn't take to much time look

But I had no time right now, I needed to know

I approached the doors to the throne room and prepared what I was going to say

I burst in and all the gods looked at me

"Annabeth?" My mom asked

She didn't ask why I was there she most likely knew

I looked around and noticed Posiedon wasn't on his throne

"Why have Demigods from both camps dissapeared?" I asked keeping a straight face

Athena looked at Zeus

"There was a... Purple Alien (A/N Don't know what to call what Thanos is) named Thanos" Zeus said while shifting on his throne

"He wasn't much of a threat until he started collecting the Infinity Stones" he said, I could tell there was more so I kept looking at him, but there something about the 'Infinity Stones' maybe I read about them somewhere

"The Avengers tried to stop him, by the time we realized what a threat Thanos was it was too late" Zeus said, The name 'The Avengers' sounded familiar but I didn't know who they were I could ask later

"Thanos had one goal in mind, to bring balance to the universe, to take away half of all life in the universe" He concluded, I couldn't believe someone would do that

If the gods trusted that The Avengers, whoever they are, could defeat Thanos then it was their fault that Thanos had completed his goal

"Who are the Avengers?" I asked, I should know if I was going to find them

"They are a group of heroes who are believed to be the Earth's mightiest heroes" Athena stated while looking at me with worry

"They tried as hard as they could but in the end, the time stone was given to Thanos and he stole the Mind Stone from the Avengers who were on Earth" Zeus explained

I couldn't believe it, these 'Avengers' caused Percy to be taken from her... He.... He was gone.

Then I noticed Hades with a peculiar expression on his face.

"Hades do you have something to add?" I asked

"Well... The spirits of all those who were dusted... They never made it to the underworld..." He said "In fact, I can't even feel their presence

My heart dropped, that meant Percy and countless others... Weren't in this plane of existence anymore, either that or they were ghosts, but.. if Hades can't feel they're presence.... This is bad, and I had a group of 'Superheroes' to visit
