Past pt.3

I opened my eyes and saw that I was in the castle but only this time the castle seemed lively. There was a grand ball going on. People wearing expensive clothes danced and laughed. Delicious food was being served at the other side. I was invisible since no one noticed my presence. I noticed everyone and tried to figure out what was the reason behind this grand party. I overheard some women talking about the prince. "Our dear prince has now turned 23. I think he'll  be crowned soon." A woman wearing a black silk dress said while drinking her champagne. "Yeah, but did you see him lately? I want to see his beautiful face." A young woman in a beautiful blue gown sighed. "No, he'll be probably busy with some errands. Afterall he's the crown prince now." She looked at the girl with a frown. "And where's our lovely prince Jimin. He isn't around either." Her eyes sparkled when she suddenly noticed him. "Oh my God, he's there! See you ladies, I've to go now." She quickly walked towards him. The older woman shook her head. "Uh, these girls." She sighed. So this party was actually a birthday party in the name of  the crown prince, presumably Taehyung. I have to look for him. I quickly ran upstairs. I started searching the whole castle. Paintings, numerous large hallways, beautiful statues of swans and sirens. These were the things I noticed when I entered this castle for the first time but now they were decorated with fairy lights. I passed a room and then heard some voices. As if someone was talking. I quickly turned to search for the source. The voices seemed to come from a room that was at the end of the hallway. I quickly walked towards the room, now standing infront of it and what I saw was so unexpected. There stood Taehyung with a girl in his arms, both seemed to be indulged in each other so much as if they were the only people in this castle. So there he was. The moonlight shone at his beautiful face making him look unreal. His eyes fixated on the girl as if his life depended on her if he let her go. "I wish we could stay like this forever my love." He whispered. "I hope your wish comes true Tae. But this is something that's impossible." She said, sadness invading her voice. "Why? If we both love each other, why can't we be together? I want you so bad, Rose." He sounded so hurt. "Rose? Wait that's my past self? But I can't see her face." I thought to myself then quickly an idea struck me. They won't be able to see me so why not see her face closely. I sneaked inside the room. They still remained unbothered. I stood behind Taehyung to have a look at her. Damn. No way! It was just like looking at myself in the mirror. She was just like me, but a bit more beautiful and groomed. Her stray curls hanging on her shoulders and eyes glowing with passion. "Then I want to dance with you one last time. I want to catch every glimpse of your touch." He said pulling her in an embrace. "As you wish my prince." Her voice was trembling. They both were trembling with the fear of losing each other. But why can't she be with him? What was so forbidden between them? Why were they being so careful even though they had the chance to have each other? Why are they wasting this beautiful night? These were the questions I knew were never be going to answered. I wanted to know the reason behind their misery. I followed them to the ballroom and saw them dance passionately, embracing every touch. Wow, it was all so beautiful and romantic. I actually had tears in my eyes. Poor Taehyung, he misses her so much and sees me as Rose. He wants to find her in me. He needs me. He needs his body back. I will help him. I won't let him wander helplessly. I was lost in thoughts when suddenly the walls began to shake. I looked at their horrified faces. "He's here." Rose's voice trembled. "Don't worry I won't let him touch you." He kissed her forehead. "We must prepare the army Tae. I'll have to go." She was about to leave when he grabbed her hand and pulled her closer. He kissed her like there was no tomorrow. "Be careful." He held her in his arms. "Don't worry my prince, I'll be fine." She smiled making him smile too. She ran and I followed her. She was now heading towards the dungeon. I saw military men running in and out. She walked inside panting. "General, they have attacked out of the blue. We aren't ready. Our soldiers are losing!" A soldier said drenched in fear and worry. "There's no one who can defeat us! Buckle up, we have a war to win!" She picked up a beautiful big bow and a bag arrows. I followed her towards the exit. I could hear people screaming and crying. I wonder where Tae and Jimin are. I quickly stopped when I saw Taehyung's carriage being carried towards the battlefield. Rose hopped on a horse and followed it. Jimin was with Taehyung. I hope everything ends good. I didnt know that it was just a wish. I was now standing in the battlefield seeing horrifying scenarios. Rose was fighting fire arrows at the enemy. She was fighting so bravely. I noticed that the arrows were lighting up by themselves. The spirit of the phoenix, I guess. She was almost done when suddenly an arrow hit her arm and she fell down groaning in pain. Taehyung yelled her name. "Rose! I'm coming!" But before he reached her a monster blocked his way while he fight his way through. A man grabbed her by the arms and lifted her up. "You look so beautiful even in pain. Trust me girl, I wouldn't hurt you if you agree to side with me." He smirked. "Leave me you monster or else you're dead!" She spat on him. "Now, now. Do you really think I will let go of a golden sparrow." "Don't be so arrogant Namjoon. Arrogance doesn't lead you to any good." She struggled to get out of his grip. "I am asking you one last time, join hands with me or lose your life." "Never!" She screamed. "You leave me with no choice then, Yoongi..." He called out to someone and the next thing that happened tore my heart into pieces. I heard Taehyung's screams and saw Rose's lifeless body lying there. Her beautiful eyes wide open. An arrow pierced through her heart so mercilessly. I was crying and so was Taehyung. No...no! This wasn't her fate. She doesn't deserve this. She was meant to live. She was meant to be together with Taehyung. I saw Taehyung dragging his injured leg and running towards her as fast as he could. Namjoon was nowhere to be seen. All his monsters had disappeared. He lifted her decaying body. Her body was slowing turning to a pile of dead leaves. "Rose, I promise I'll find you in your next life. My love won't let you die. I will always be there for you. And I'll always love you." He was trembling and crying. She had now turn into a pile of autumn leaves. Sadness lured the whole battlefield. Jimin stood beside his weeping brother. He put his hand on his shoulder and hugged him. I stood there helpless unable to help him.

Beep beep

I woke up drenced in sweat and panting. My mother was sitting beside me. "Thank God you're awake!" She ran her fingers through my hair. "You are burning with fever. Oh my dear be careful. The weather isnt good these days. Here's some soup. Drink it and if you need me just text me." She smiled and placed a kiss on my forehead and left the room. I laid there completely confused. What will be my new step? How will I be able to take revenge? And how to get to this Namjoon guy. He seems really dangerous. I have to talk to Taehyung.
