The Ball pt.1

"Helena you're getting better, keep trying hard and you'll be ready for the fight." I listened to Jimin's remarks while balancing myself on one foot I was trying to avoid losing focus because that's what he was trying to do. That was the part of today's training. I had a pile of books on my head and was trying hard to keep my balance. He was constantly talking about random things and I had to keep my mind straight. Unfortunately, I lost my balance even though I tried my best and was about to fall when his strong arms held me firmly. We stayed in that position for a minute staring at each other. "You're beautiful Helena. I wish..." He stopped and quickly straightened himself. I was flustered. Did he just complimented me? I mean he would flirt with me occasionally but like he would never throw direct remarks. I brushed it off since it wasn't a big deal. Ignoring the fact that two unseen eyes were staring at us. We continued practising until our feet hurt. "That's all for today. You should go and freshen up and then we'll have lunch okay?" I nodded with a smile and went to my room to take a nice warm shower. I was worried. How am I gonna win against that monster? He's the devil himself to say the least. His men killed Rose even though she had the powers of the Phoenix and could burn him into ashes. He took advantage of her love for the prince. Poor Taehyung, he might be so upset seeing me in place of her. He only wants me because I can set him free. That saddens me. His stare makes my insides flip. Those icy, blue eyes are the most beautiful things I've seen. But I can't fall for them because it's no use. Maybe I should end all of this and get back to my normal life again. With my friends, family and Jungkook. He still has feelings for me I guess. But I can't help my feelings for Taehyung either. Oh God please help me. I don't wanna turn into ashes and die. Taehyung has always been my crush and I guess I'm starting to like him even more. When I was dreaming of Jungkook kissing me and he suddenly appeared my heart skipped a beat. I knew there was something he made me feel that no one else did. His touch sent me on cloud 9 when he carressed my cheek. Jungkook is a really good guy and handsome too but the way Taehyung intimidates me hits me harder than a truck. I was deep in my thoughts when I realized that Jimin was waiting for me at the lunch table. I quickly got out of the shower and put on some clothes and ran downstairs towards the dinning hall. He was sitting at his favourite spot, waiting for me. "You're late Helena." He gave me a small smile and I apologised. "Sorry I just love staying in the shower for long especially after a tiring day." He nodded and we started eating our lunch quietly. He would give me small stares time to time. Is he feeling ok? Is he trying to tell me something? I tried to ignore his stares and started eating with a quicker pace. In the evening we decided to have a walk along the beautiful garden that held the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen. "You seem to love flowers don't you?" He softly whispered near my ear. My cheeks burned at the sudden closeness. "Yes! They are the most beautiful things God has created to decorate our world." I said with twinkling eyes as they roam around the garden. "They can be yours if you'll promise to stay here forever." His voice had now become serious and husky. What does he mean? How can I even live here? Is he crazy? I looked at him in confusion asking him what he meant. To which he just laughed and said he was joking. I don't think he was joking. But well I believed him. The day of the ball was coming closer as I only had tomorrow to prepare for the final fight. We had already made our plans of how to kill the king without being distracted. It was decided that I would obviously be asked to dance with the King and as soon as I'll get near his heart I'll strike the dagger into his chest hidden under a secret portion of my dress. We'll have to pretend that we are defenceless and that we were unaware of his dirty plans. He would probably manipulate me using his powers as that what he would do to his victims and kill them afterwards. Don't worry His Majesty's going to have the time of his life. I smirked thinking of how all of my worries will vanish when I'll kill that piece of shit.
