we were on our way inside the genius lab when jungkook looked at my hand, i covered the code. "why did you cover it? you never do that" he said, i started sweating. "what do you mean?" i said and opened the door. "you covered the code" he said sternly. "it was a reflex" i tried but i knew that he didn't buy it. "you changed it didn't you?" he sounded disappointed. i didn't answer, he knew i couldn't lie to him right now. "why would you do that?" he said and looked at me with watery eyes. i hate seeing him cry, especially when i'm the reason. "i had to" i whispered. "i was scared" i blurted out. "why were you scared hyung? you have no reason to be scared" he tried soothing me. "of you" i paused, he looked up in shock. "i was scared that you would see me hurt". "i promised that i wouldn't cry, but it was impossible. i-i missed you so much" i said and lowered my head, i saw a tear fall down on the floor. but it wasn't my tears. It was jungkook's.
