You looked at the crowd, not to many people were there, about 40. Most of them were middle aged men drinking beer. You were relived to see your long time friend Tommy Lee sitting in the back, with the rest of his band. You called him the other day and told him that you were going to play at a Whiskey A Go Go on the Sunset Strip. He was very happy for you and said that he and the rest of his band would be there.

Mötley Crüe, the name of his band, had got rather popular and they released a album the year before. Tommy always told you to start a band, or at least try to become a solo artist. And finally you listened to him and wrote a couple of songs together with some old high school buddies. Or well, you wrote the lyrics and they played the music.

The bar owner walked past you, introducing you and the rest of your band to the crowd who let out a small cheer. Your band already stood by their instruments, leaving you to be the last who walked inside. You Let out a sigh and pulled your high waisted jeans up a little further before you walked inside. The crowd cheered and some of the older men whistled at you. You mentally threw up but kept a smile on your face.

"Thank you. Our first song is called Heroin." You said and the music started. "Topanga is hot tonight, the city by the bay, Has movie stars and liquor stores and soft decay." The crowd got silent and almost got mesmerised by your soft and gentle voice. "Life rocked me, like Motley" You sang, pointing at them and Tommy cheered loudly.

"Flying to the moon again, Dreaming about heroin, Probably gave you everything, And took your life away." The song was inspired by your aunt Joanne and her husband Jack. They were both heroin addicts and one day Jack overdosed and died. Joanne was left heartbroken and she later committed suicide by taking an overdose of the same drug. You held a special place for them in your heart. "It's fucking hot, hot, winter in the city, Something 'bout this weather made these kids go crazy."

Soon the song was over and the crowd cheered loudly, making you smile. But the loudest cheering came from Tommy who stood up, laughing and clapping his hands "Thats my girl right there." He shouted while pointing before he sat down. You smiled at him and waited for the crowd to calm down.

"Alright. Gods and Monsters." You announced and once again the music started. "In a land of gods and monsters, i was an angel, living in the garden of evil. Screwed up scared doing everything that i needed, shining like a fiery beacon."

The song finished and once more, the crowd roared. You sang a few more songs before you bowed and walked off the stage. You and your friends said goodnight and they headed out, but you were going to party with no other than Mötley Crüe.

You walked inside the bar and walked towards Tommy who smiled widely once he saw you. He got up and jogged towards you, wrapping his arms around as he lift you up, spinning a few turns before he put you down. You both laughed for a moment before he grabbed your hand and walked you to the table where the other members of his band were seated.

"Guys, this is my Y/n, one of my best friends." He smiled before sitting down. You shook everyones hands as they introduced themselves. Vince, Mick and Nikki, who held your hand a little longer than the others, making you blush immediately. His dark eyes stared at you, making you clear your throat as you sat down, next to him. You had met them before but never really talked to them.

"Y/n, your performance was, absolutely amazing, all of it." Vince spoke with a smile. You smiled back and thanked him. "Where do you get your inspiration from, the lyrics seems very..deep."
