Gone with the wind ( Part I )

Chapter 28

Before the explosion:

" Jennie, she told us to leave. "

" I have a bad feeling about this. "

" She's first in the agency, who ya kidding ? She killed 15 people on her first mission, SOLO ! "

" That's easy for you to say, she's still our member, we are not leaving her. I'm driving to block C to pick up both the snipers. "

" Okay. "

At the building:

" Okay, I'm captain now. Leave this place, if anything happens to me or Jisoo, I will press my watch and you guys will receive a signal. "

" Okay, be careful. "

Jennie hid at a place that she could see the building Jisoo was at. After waiting for 10 minutes, she saw Jisoo. Thank God she's alright. Before she knew it, she saw Jisoo seeking shelter and the building was devoured by the famished flames. Before her very eyes, she saw her baby, almost buried by the building as she was inches away from the scene. She called the ambulance and held Jisoo in her arms.

" JISOO ! KIM JISOO ! WAKE UP, YOURE NOT LEAVING ME !! "

" ...I...love... you..Je..... "

" YAH, No, you can't, stay with me, they are on the way, you promised me. "

Jennie was in despair, the love of her life was lying on her lap lifelessly, the sight of her baby covered in blood shattered her heart. Dear God, I know you are real, please save my Jichu, I'm begging you.

" Mam, we need you to let go of her. "

" Can I please get on the ambulance with you ? "

" How are you related to her ? "

" She's my god damn girlfriend. "

" Okay, hop on. We have called the fire engine to inform them the burning building. Are you hurt anywhere ? "

" SHES DYING ! CAN YOU SAVE HER FIRST AND CARE LESS ABOUT ME ! "

The paramedics tried their best to treat some of her wounds and stop Jisoo from losing too much blood.

" We have arrived at the hospital. "

" Okay rush her to the ER stat. "

Jennie never once let go of Jisoo's hand until Jisoo had to enter the operating theatre. She waited for hours, occasionally she would cry but her heart was filled with anger. She vented her anger on the nearest object she could find which was the wall. She was punching so hard, her hands started bleeding, the Nurses had to stop her rash decision  and had to treat her wounds. A nurse came to her and calm her down. She didn't say anything, signalling Jennie to sit down while she treated her other wounds.

" She promised me. "

" Well, I'm sure she will keep it, she's strong enough. "

" What if she doesn't ? My whole life will be meaningless without her. "

" Well, you don't have to think until that extreme, I know she will be fine. What's your name sweet heart ? "

" My name is Kim Jennie. "

" Hi Jennie, I'm Rose. Trust me on this, she will be fine. "

After Rose flashed a smile, she stood up and walked away. Jennie looked at her bandaged hands. She had no energy to do anything. She sat on the chairs patiently.

" Here, a drink, you need it more than I do. "

" Thanks Rose. "
