Chapter 24

Irene's phone:

Me:
Jennie, have you help me look into Seulgi's background ?

Jennie:
Yes Unnie.
She lives 4 blocks down the kbbq place she works at. Blk 20 #08-01.

Me:
Thanks Jennie, Unnie appreciates it.

Jennie:
Come back home for dinner okay ?

Me:
I will :))

After turning off her phone, Irene grabbed her hoodie and walked to Seulgi's home. At first she got confused with the directions but when she walked down the street along the kbbq restaurant, she saw the block and somehow it looked familiar. Irene then realise that it was the same playground that she met the ice cream girl. She walked briskly towards the block and took the lift up.

*Ding Dong*

" Who is it ? "

" Hi I'm Seulgi's friend, Irene. May I come in ? "

" Oh sure, come in come in. "

On the dining table

" So hows my little bear ? "

" She's great, she just wants me to ask a few questions from you if that's okay. "

" Sure sure. "

" Does Seulgi have any place that she goes when she was younger ? "

" HAHA, it's that playground near our block, she would always go there now and I do see her there sometimes, either thinking about life or calming herself down. "

" Do you have any childhood photos of her that I can keep ? "

" That's sounds creepy, does Seulgi know about this ? "

" She will know about this, I promise you it will make her day. "

" Okay, thanks for helping my bear bear. Anything else you would need ? "

" Anything she likes doing during her free time ? "

" Hmmm... Besides dancing it will be drawing. Her drawing stuff is on her table. She has this black bag at the side to keep all that. You can pack that and I will give you her childhood photo. "

" Thank you. "

After Irene received the childhood photos from Seulgi's mom, she walked briskly to the hospital. On the way to the hospital, she stopped for a while. She made a trip to the flower shop. She was walking around when her eyes laid on a certain type of flower, Irises. When she laid in the hospital after her treatment, her Father often bought Irises for her but she never knew the significance. Since it brought back memories, she hope that these flowers will help bring back some of Seulgi's memories though it might be painful.

After purchasing the flower, Irene stopped at a cookie shop to get some double choco chip cookie with hazelnut, one packet for her and one packet for Seulgi just in case. When she arrived in the hospital, she saw a lot of Nurses crowding at Seulgi's ward. Irene rushed to see what was going on only to see that Seulgi was gone.
